There is a borderline man is never to cross. In life God gave man borderlines. In life man gives borderlines. There are laws that govern these borders both spiritually and naturally. All natural laws of men were once governed by the Laws or Commandments of God. In the home, Church or State there are borderlines man was never to cross!
Exodus 19:12-14 and thou shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying; take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it; whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death; there shall not an hand touch it, but he hall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live; when the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.
God went on in Exodus 20 to give us the Ten Commandments spoken by Moses to the people. We are to have no other God before him Exodus 20:3; yet we put everything before God today, people, animals, land and things. We make them graven images because we obey them or it rather than God. God is a jealous God and says when we do such we show forth hatred and do iniquity Exodus 20:5. We use his name in vain which he says we hold him guiltless when we take his name in vain. We forget to keep the Sabbath holy or any other day holy for that matter. Honoring father and mother today is a pass thing yet it too determines our days on the earth Exodus 20:12. He says we shall not kill, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness against our neighbor (in other words lie), and not covet one another goods, spouses, servants, or anything another have. Then Moses said to them in Exodus 20:20 fear not; for God is come to prove you; and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Borderlines are boundaries, dividing lines placed on what is acceptable and what is not acceptable, valid or normal having a questionable or indefinite status. It means that there is a stopping point of one thing or another but there cannot be any or nothing crossing over into another part. There is a line man is never to cross for there are penalties for their actions. For every action there is a reaction. We in the USA have borderlines and anyone caught crossing them will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. There are State lines and if something is done in one state, the person has a choice to voluntarily go back to the State or remain in the State they are caught in and go to court to be sent back. There is a state of respect between the borders. What has happen to the borders God set in the life of man?
Isaiah 55:5-9 behold thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thought; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
There is a saying that if we stand for nothing we will fall for anything. Itís true! The Call of God brings man to the borderline. It is a personal call; meaning we have a purpose. Man belongs solely to God for God is the Creator of everything earthly and heavenly. He is the maker of all of mankind; male and female, man and woman. He made the day and night which gives us daylight and darkness. At the borderline of day is dusk coming in from the night. At the borderline of night is the setting of the sun and darkness comes. Before sin enters into our lives there is a warning that we are crossing the borderline from sanctity and obedience to the darkness of sin. Paul in Acts 9:4-6 was at a crossover in life. He was at the borderline where he persecuted the Lord and his people. He had an encounter with Christ. God will let us know when we have crossed the borderline and offer us a time of repentance that we may get back on track before we are utterly destroyed Acts 9:15-16.
We are warned about lifestyles today. While in America anything goes, other countries donít like us. While we propagate (try to reproduce) our lifestyles to be pleasing to us, others donít like it. The Devil too does not like our lifestyles after him. Once he uses us he plans an attack to destroy. He doesnít like him; he got kicked out of heaven. Now he has loosed a spirit to kill the now so free people with a lifestyle that is not pleasing to God. America is on the break of bondage because they have adopted lifestyles pleasing to men but not God. God has already pronounced judgment from the beginning upon such. I Samuel 20:3 truly as the Lord lives and as thy soul lives, there is but a step between me and death. We must realize the lifestyle we choose could bring death to us outside the will of God. We accept the judgment of death and hell for lifestyles lived outside the will of God.
He used the angels in heaven but they arenít with him here; they are chained up to the Day of Judgment. Imagine how they must feel; used up. Just as when Jesus was to be born into the world he used the King to kill all of the babies two years old and under he has a plan to kill. This judgment these angels faced was hell for eternity. Daniel 12:2 and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. If we die on the border of sin we are doomed for eternity. We will have everlasting life in hell, tormented forever with the angels that too disobeyed God in heaven. We were birth forth in the earth out this disaster in heaven; will we too die with them? Think about it; hellís fire eternally!
In America we show fun and games, we drink ourselves to death, party everywhere, speak anything and live ungodly lifestyles. We inflict all of this on others and care less about how offensive it is to others less alone God. Well Satan has plans for all of this; beware sin takes down a strong nation. It wonít be long before he shows himself and his wrath. Itís time to wake up America; we are a disappointment in the world. We once carried the respect of other nations. We were looked up to. We were trailblazers! Now no one really care to even bother with us! Our nation is considered to be the Nasty Capitol of the World! There are plans to kill not only in the country but out of the country (War). Beware of where we travel and especially in large groups. Judgment is set against the people for the lifestyles Americans live outside the realm of God. Gay now but dead tomorrow! It is the penalty God set for such acts. It is a complete denial of God and who He made them to be. We are so guilty of self-denial and it is too acceptable. Godís wrath is poured out this day! There are borders set that man was never to cross. I John 1:1-2 that which was from the beginning which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled of the Word of Life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us). We know when we are wrong. We know what is right and honorable before God and men but we choose at the crossroad, at the borderline to do that which is not pleasing to God.
There is a borderline to all things that pertain to life and godliness. God through the knowledge of his Word gives us divine directions that we are to follow in life; but it is a choice. At the borderline we choose to do or not to do, to obey or not. At the borderline according to Godís divine power that He has given us is all things that pertain unto life and godliness. He have called us to glory and virtue which we are to diligently adhere to that we never fail to please and honor God. God commanded blessings upon us, even life for evermore. What have we given in exchange for our soul; a feeling, a man, a woman, children, things, or money? Whatever it is itís now an enemy to God. Will we bring destruction to that we say we love through disobedience to God? There is a difference between clean and unclean, holy and unholy, day and night, light and darkness, and being separate and celibate. We are at the borderline of life and death; choose this day whom we will serve, will it be God or Satan?
God gives life, Satan death. God gives peace, Satan wars. God gives joy, Satan sorrow. God gives eternal life, Satan brings eternal damnation. The borderline is here and we must choose to cross over or remain steadfast and unmovable that we abound in the things of God. Every choice or decision a man make in the earth carry with it judgment. How long will we halt between two opinions? That opinion either right or wrong carries with it a borderline choice. If the Lord be God follow Him; but if Satan then follow him. We must purpose in our own heart what we will follow but realize it have consequences either to us or to others. Turn not to the right or left to sin against God for then we step across the border to evil. When evil is conceived in the heart with it come shame. Today there is no shame; therefore we are dead while we yet live because of sin.
No man can serve two masters; they will hate the one and love the other or we will hold to the one and despise the other; we canít serve God and mammon. We must be persuaded that nothing shall separate us from the love of God. We will not be weary in well doing. We will watch, stand fast in our faith and be strong. We want to continue in the faith, grounded and settled that we be not moved away from the hope of the Gospel which we have heard taught and preached. Be comforted in our hearts today, hold the traditions we have been taught and live! If God is for us (we must be in complete obedience to his Word) who can be against us? Fight the good fight of faith, finish the course, and keep the faith. If we be righteous we will be righteous still when it comes time we have to cross over from life to death; we will continue to live with God in heaven. If we are holy, be holy still. The Deliverer stands at the border awaiting us; will we be ready to go with Him? He will take our hand and lead us to the Father but we must make ourselves ready.
