My hand refuses to hold the stone
that I could throw at you.
So aware of my wretched bones,
convicted by what's true.
I must love you as myself,
as you that's my need.
I'm a brother for your help,
for you I will plead.
May the Defense stand for you;
He does in my heart.
Find the freedom in the true,
to comfort and not part.
Gentler than rebuking stones
is the counsel from the Lord.
He reproves the one He owns
of the sin he can't afford.
My hand hates these so-cold stones
that I can't throw at you.
Sensing holy love in my wretched bones
convicted by Who's true.
