WHEN BOOKS ARE OPENED
A few days ago as I was just passing time going through the call log from my phone, I saw a phone number on the list that had called me a day earlier. Below the number it was written the words NOT SAVED. I tried to remind myself of the person who called me but it was in vain; I couldn’t remember the person needless to say the discussion we held during the conversation. I realised that the number on the call log was as good as it did not appear on the list. I remembered what happens when you are born again. Your name is written down in the book of life (Revelation 20:12-15) and for as long as it appears you are saved and safe. The question is, are you saved? Those who are not saved the Lord Jesus does not know them because they have not called on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:13).
If you want to be saved call on the name of the Lord. On Judgement Day every one of us will appear before God to give an account of what we did while we were still alive here on earth. It is imperative that when books are opened your name should appear on the Book of Life. May you seek His face and find Him while He can still be found. When you call unto Him out of a heart of repentance you will win His favour and will come to your aid. There is still an opportunity for you that when books are opened your name may appear also. Make your ways right with God in Jesus Name. Amen.
