I came not in superior speech or of wisdom,
Stating testimony of the Heavenly Kingdom;
Determined not to know anything about you,
On Jesus Christ crucified of feelings true;
Be with you in weakness, trembling in fear,
My poetic preaching not to entice your ear,
Rather to show the Spirit and of the power,
Not faith in men rather in God every hour.
How often we forget what we should trust,
Then it turns out more with being a lust;
We put our trust while driving in our car,
Thinking that it'll get us really quite far;
Then suddenly the car stops and just dies,
And not able to get answers to your whys;
Putting trust in money shopping at a store,
Then when it's gone our greed wants more;
All I can say is put your trust in the Lord,
God will ensure that you get your reward;
Rather than men build your faith in Christ,
It was for your sins that He was sacrificed.
