Has commercialism lost its zest for Christmas? Shoppers have been concerned about identity theft and being robbed while shopping as so many people are lost in homelessness, unemployment and violence. Yet, the true meaning of Christmas today has not gotten lost in this season of both joy and confusion. Jesus is the same today as He was yesterday. The son of God came to give new life to those who believe in Him.
Why is it that people are reluctant to say "Merry Christmas? It is The Christ that provides us with a tremendous sense of hope today. The love of God in Christ Jesus enables us to see a light that came overcome all of the evils we encounter today with absolute confidence in the future.
There are so too many people lost today. Our economy has lost billions around the world who cannot keep pace with the advent of technology. Jobs have been eliminations of exported for cost cutting matters. Meanwhile people are falling deeper into dispair.
Jesus was born to save a lost word. God gave us a Savior in Jesus Christ. We celebrate this important birth because of what Jesus did on the cross. Jesus gave up His life and blood to save us from a world of sin. God raised Jesus from the grave so that we too may be one with Him in Paradize. Jesus will return to finish the work that must be done for our salvation..
