“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in us” (John 17: 21 NKJV).
What can separate us from Christ? Tribulation? No. Persecution? No. Does famine or sword? No. Paul proclaimed ‘neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God’ (Romans 8: 35-39).
Believing Jesus Christ died for our sins places us under His divine care and protection. Nothing can harm. That’s it. We belong to Him.
No one steals or grabs from His all-powerful hand “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed]. And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28 Amplified).
Apostle Paul named himself a captive ‘bond-servant’ (prisoner) of the Lord (Romans 1:1). Chosen prisoner of hope, God entrusted Paul with spreading precious good-news to the then-known world. Although a genius-scholar of Scriptures, Paul needed supernatural strength. Imparting and endowment of the Holy Spirit’s power brought success to this colossal assignment.
Three days of blindness opened Paul’s spiritual vision. Surrendering himself to Jesus, he completely embraced Christ as Master and Lord to use him anyway He saw fit. Sold out. Sold out to God “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me” (Galatians 2:20 Amp).
Are we sold out? Wholly His---Life-Giver and Sustainer of everything? He is the Way and knows the address of our final destination. Accepting Jesus as our Savior means we turn our lives over to Him. He guides, leads and provides everything we need for the worth-it-all journey.
Ball and chain me to You Lord! I’m yours; no matter the method, where, why, what or how. Make us one. May my will be Your will. Anything Lord.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
