NOT ancient....of YEARS....(but
With more behind than ahead),
The old drunk attempted.....
To shake the cobwebs from his head.
He recalled those days
When a vigor and zeal.....he knew;
The age that ALL youth knows....
(Then.....the urge to try something new!)
For a while....the EFFECT WAS fun!
The ANTICS.....entertaining.....
The SENSATION.....pleasing.
Now?
No one laughs.
No one is amused.
ALL.....is pity.
