If any heir is a child,
He must be tender and mild;
And no better off than a slave,
Regardless if he does behave.

Although he owns everything,
To the Father what does he bring;
He is placed under the control,
Of the guardians of his soul.

Till time is set by his Father,
The trustees are looking further;
Watching us that we do not stray,
To the point we lost our way.

For we were children of this place,
Slaves to principles that embrace;
Even though when the time is right,
We are mature to see the light.

God had sent His only Son here,
Birth by a woman we hold dear;
And came under control of God,
By His Law to honor and laud.

God sent Him to pay for freedom,
Of those controlled by this kingdom;
So that the Father could adopt,
And that corruption could be stopped.

Now His children no longer slaves,
No longer heirs unto the graves;
The right to call Abba Father,
Calling by both or by either.

So no longer as slaves to sin,
No fear of corruption within;
For confession has set you free,
And faith has allowed you to see.
