Living on earth during the Last Days
What do we do when all we see and hear on the TV or the Radio the News about all the chaos, confusion, controversy, despair, disaster, destruction and people suffering here in America and around the world? It doesn’t seem too led up or slow down—it seems that the world is on a tail spin trying to twist people, places and things around. The Government is fumbling and bumbling policies and laws and the health care just as much as the world’s climate is changing for the worst. People are searching for answers and all they come across is some more tragedy and trial. Where do we look for answers to questions we have in our minds? What can we do to understand what in the world is going on with the world!?! What can we do as Christians to be better prepared for what is to come until Jesus comes again?
Hi Faith-writers, I’m grateful that Our Heavenly Father is allowing me another opportunity to continue to share another Message of Hope so we can reassure that there is something to look forward too despite the chaos. I want to share my sympathy to all those who have been experiencing all the destruction that’s been taking place around the world. I wish I could gather everyone together and bring them to a safe-haven for protection and comfort. However, this is not a realistic answer for all our problems we are currently encountering. The answer to all the worlds’ problems rests in the TRUTH that Jesus shared with us about the End-Times in Matthew chapters 24 and 25.
Biblical Facts are becoming Surreal
Jesus taught us that we are currently Living in the Beginning of Sorrows Phase of the End-Time events (Matthew 24:8 NKJV) The whole explanation (verses 4-14). The Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Tornados, Fires, Mud-slides, Tsunami, Pestilences, and Famines that was described by Jesus is all predicted to show us that the End is approaching. And as sad and devastating as it may seem there has to be a sense of urgency with our approach to being able to prepare for the terrors that await us still.
There is no human plan that will stop these disasters from happening. We may prepare for it as we develop devices, sirens, meteorologist warnings and the like; however, we are left to the Mercies of God to survive the storms that are going to continue hammering the earth. Does this mean that God is mad at us? Does it mean that God doesn’t want us to pleasure in anything on the earth? No! All this disaster clearly shows that Jesus’ Words are true. Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but His Words (especially the Words He spoke about the End-Times) are eternal. Therefore, what was said by Jesus is going to come to pass before He returns (Matthew 24:34-35 NKJV).
What gets our Attention?
There’s nothing more than a crisis situation that will challenge us to lay aside every issue we may have with other people, the Government, and Religion. When disaster strikes we will lay aside our differences, opinions, politics, prejudices, and philosophies of what we think life should be. And spring into action to assist financially, morally, and personally to help others in need after the destruction. There’s nothing more meaningful than to watch strangers come along and assist people they never knew. The Good Samaritan within all of us springs out to motivate us to do what Jesus wanted us to do all along when he spoke about The Parable of the Sheep’s and Goats (Matthew 25:31-46 NKJV).
We will race to the need by providing the food, shelter and finances others so desperately need. We will rise up and build organizations aimed at bringing aid and all kinds of recovery and rebuilding efforts. However, with all of the aid, the resources that can be made available to those in need we cannot over-look the fact that we must look to the Main Source of our purpose for doing what we have been wired to do—and that is, to Acknowledge all that Jesus said that will ultimately grant us the assurance that we will find ourselves in His Perfect Will during these End-Times.
End-Time Events will Produce End-Time Faith
When we witness an ongoing assault on society and upon the earth we question whether God cares—but Truth of the matter is that we must understand that we are currently living in the “Beginning of Sorrows” Phase of End-Time events. In other words, the storms, the Tornados, Earthquakes, Plagues and Famine are part of the End-Time events that Jesus said would come upon the Earth before He returns. We cannot get bitter against God but consider what we must do to be in good standings with God before the real Great Tribulation comes upon the earth.
We can understand the End-Times by reading Matthew chapter 24 and 25 over and over until it sinks into our hearts and grant us the revelation we need to Hope in God’s ability to take us away in the Rapture before the Great Tribulation. I recommend that you read the previous articles that were written titled, “Jesus teaches on the Beginning of Sorrows” and “Who is taken and Who is Left?” to give you a comprehensive explanation as to why are we going through all this drama. And if you are not Born-Again I suggest you read the articles on the Born-Again experience parts 1-4 that will instruct you on how to be a Born-Again Believer in Christ Jesus. Ultimately more destruction is coming we must make sure that we are safe in Jesus come what may, amen.
