"For you did form my inward parts; You did weave me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them."
These words are from Psalm 139:13-16. According to this passage and many others throughout the Bible, God created human life with a purpose and intricate design. He created each person with a certain number of ordained days upon this earth.
Where has the sanctity of human life gone? A life of purpose and design has been taken away from over 50 million babies through abortion. Recently the American Center for Law and Justice reported that babies born as a result of "botched abortions" are also being killed by Planned Parenthood. There are 330,000 abortions a year, or one every 95 seconds! Add to this all of the senseless shootings.
Of course, the evolutionists have contributed to this by telling us that we all come from monkeys. Well, monkeys don't grow up to be doctors, scientists, and other people who could find cures to world problems and diseases.
The marvel of creation is clearly seen in the human brain, which is able to make more calculations in a faster time than any computer on earth today.
Part of the intricate design that God created within the human body is evident in the immune system, able to ward off infectious diseases, long before the computer came to be, with its capacity to fight computer viruses.
Who else but God could have designed a body with nothing more than a muscle in the chest that keeps pumping life-giving blood 24/7?
Go back and read again the passage from Psalm 139 very slowly, paying attention to all of the words and phrases that describe how the human body came into being by God.
Psalm 127:3 informs us that children are a gift of the Lord. It saddens God greatly that so many lives have been cut short. Some people believe that we will see all of the aborted babies in heaven. I do not know if that is true, but I do know that God has not forgotten them, and He still knows the purpose and intricate design of each one.
Every created human being is so special in God's eyes that He sent His son Jesus to die on a cross, and He would have done that for just one person.
Will never know how special these babies and other lives that have been shortened would have been. Women say they have a right to choose, BUT EACH BABY ALSO HAS A RIGHT TO BE BORN. That right was denied them. God had a special purpose for each one BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN CONCEIVED.
The United States of America needs to return to the sanctify of human life.
