[1]
I’ve come to the cross,
To find my Saviour,
To find my Redeemer,
To find my Lord!
[ 2]
I’ve come to the cross,
To find my Forgiver
To find my Helper,
To find my Lord!
[ 2]
I’ve come to the cross,
To seek direction,
To seek salvation,
From the Lord!
[3]
I’ve come to the cross,
Heavy laden,
To lay down my burdens,
In exchange for myLord’s!
[4]
I’ve come to the cross,
To sing hallelujah,
To sing hallelujah,
Christ is Lord!
We come to the Lord seeking Forgiveness on bended knees, from a repentant heart. He forgives us and we exchange the cares of the world for His burden which is lighter. We trust Him for direction, knowing that we are forgiven, redeemed of all our sins; we want to shout it from the mountain top: “Hallelujah, Jesus is Lord! I am forgiven, I am healed…Jesus is real! Salvation is mine!” Your joy has returned, your morning has come. You smile again! He has turned your mourning into dancing! It is a beautiful moment when we exchange our burdens for the Lord’s! We can sleep in peace, knowing that He makes us to lie down in green pastures while restoring our souls. His rod and staff will correct us when we step out of line and He will direct our paths. Blessed is the name of the Lord. Have a blessed week my brothers and sisters. God is still at work. Keep singing His praises and let the healing flow.
At 11am today (11th November) we remembered those who have fought and died in the 2 world wars or other conflicts with two minutes of silence. May we never forget that they gave up their lives (their today) for our future (our tomorrow). We acknowledge those who are still with us today: those who are new recruits or have been serving for years; the retired or those who are approaching retirement (fearfully or courageously) facing an unknown future. Many can no longer serve because of wounds they have endured during battle. Please pray that they will look to the cross for healing.
Happy Remembrance Day! Thank you for your service! God bless you, keep you and give you peace.
Your sister in Christ,
Janice (11/11/2013).
