The time is rapidly approaching when it won't make any difference...
...what church you attend or what denomination to which you belong.
...whether you are rich or poor.
...whether you are young or old.
...whether you are religious or an atheist.
...whether you are a president or a pauper.
...how much money you have in the bank.
...how well you have treated your husband or wife.
...how much money you have given away.
...how many good works you have done.
...how many hungry mouths you have fed.
...how many times you have read your Bible or prayed, or
...how many times you have stopped to help someone in need,
because "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10-11)
"And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty-six." (Revelation 13:16-18) Receiving the mark will be the same as rejecting Jesus.
If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then none of what I mention in this article will make any difference in terms of your eternal destiny. Salvation cannot be earned. It is getting to the place in our culture where one will need to make a decision for or against Jesus. This is the equalizing and dividing issue.
