Heavenly Father, I pray that You would reveal Yourself to me anew and afresh. To come before You with any other desire is setting myself up for failure. In You I find my identity and through You I see all things. Give me Your eyes, that I might be able to love the people the way You do. Give me Your feet, that I might run to where You are, where Your will is for my life, and where You want me. Give me Your hands, that I might serve the least of these around me; that I might give the touch of love that is realized only through knowing the Creator of the universe. Give me Your heart, that I might put to death my needs and ideas of my comfort zones to only have a passion and servant-like demeanor reserved for those who are fully committed to You. I am Yours Father, for I have been cleansed white through the red stains poured out by my Savior. Let me throw caution to the wind and throw off any distraction to pursue You and Your Spirit with reckless abandonment. Break me, then mold me and make me, Yahweh. Tear down the comfort I find in everyday things and stretch me for You. You are my true love, my first love and my only love. No other love could ever compare, for any other would be found here on Earth. And yet this place is not my home; I am a conscious alien and to find any comparable love is not within Your will or plan for my life. Having said that, help me to demolish and wreck any thought of a comfort zone Father. Give me a spirit of service. Reveal Yourself to me; I want to see You. Grant me wisdom, peace and blessed assurance. I am lost without You, Father. And yet, through it I am blessed, for there is no place I’d rather be. I fall to my knees and beg for Your touch in my life. Pour Your wisdom out upon me. I search only for Your guidance. I cling to the promises revealed to me. To know Jesus Christ is to love and to love is to serve. Let me life be a reflection of this. You are my identity and whom my soul longs for. Amidst tests and confusions of this life, I run to You. You are my love, above all others. Of that I am sure.
