IF YOU COULD ONLY SEE ME NOW
A Letter from Mya (me-a)
If you could only see me now
I’m sure you would not cry,
Or if you could visit me
I’m sure your eyes would dry.
That small frail body you once held
And now hold in your heart.
By God’s Grace it’s been Glorified,
Now it will never fall apart.
I could not begin to tell you
What I see and hear,
But this place is so beautiful
I just know, you’ll want to be here.
Great Grandma said to say hello
And that she’s doing fine,
And then she smiles and says to me:
“I’m so proud you are mine.”
Great Grandpa sure does smile a lot
Since he’s now free from sin,
And when the angels start to sing,
He sure loves joining in.
Now there’s no need to rush right Home
Strengthen, those who remain,
Remind them that through Faith in Christ
God will heal their pain.
So until we meet again in heaven
I truly want to say: “Thanks.”
For your letting go was best for me,
You watch, you wait, you’ll see.
“I Love You”
