Psalm 110
New King James Version (NKJV)

1.The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

2. The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!

Grace and peace be unto my Brothers and Sisters,

Do you have any enemies? The young people call them haters, even Jesus had haters. What do you do when you are surrounded by haters? In the above scripture text we notice how God the Father intervenes and declares," “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Did the Father intervene because the son did not have the power to deal with his enemies? Of course not, this is an example for us on how God wants us to deal with our enemies. The scripture declares, "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord". The battle is not ours but it is the Lord's. The Father do not want our focus to be on fighting our enemies. The Father clarifies our focus when he declares," Seek he first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness...Jesus stated it this way,"I must be about my Father's business". Therefore, my brothers and my sisters your focus should not be on your haters and your enemies but you focus should be about God the Father's business. Jesus said," I came to save that which is lost and then in Matthew 28:19-20 he gives us our marching orders," Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20). Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age". Now that we know what our focus should be, what are the purposes of our haters? One of the purposes of our haters is to be our footstool, they are in our lives to propel us higher. If you didn't have haters......you would not pray as much, if you didn't have haters....you would not trust God as much.......if you didn't have haters......you certainly would not be blessed as much! Haters push us to our next blessing. Remember God said," I will bless you in the presence of your enemies". If you had no enemies in this world, there would be no need for blessings. God said, "I will make your enemies your footstool". Footstools are also used for comfort. God the Father told Jesus Christ His son to sit, while he makes Jesus enemies a place that he can rest hist feet. The scriptures declares that God gives us power to thread upon serpents in others words we have power to rest our feet upon our enemies. Haters make good footstools! Thank God for our enemies! Our enemies causes God to elevate our feet, we are always declaring we are going to the next level but we must understand, until our feet get off the ground we are still at the same level. Thank God that my enemies are my footstool!
