Poetry
Can the little deer
See her reflection in the pool
The pool of quiet, summer songs
The reflection of Thy face
Can she see Thy doe-like eyes
Reflecting love for her
Thy love come down from heaven
Thy grace abounding free
Do the ripples that I see
Portray a swell of heartfelt longing
Are the ripples that I see
Poured out from a lonely heart’s calling
Oh! Saviour, that dear heart belongs to me
At last I see my face in Thee
Lift my feet and set me free
And lost forever in Thy grace I’ll be

Your poetry is like the cry of all Gods children as we go through the refining fire, for our God is a consuming fire, so during your pain, remember this is just temporal and for our good, That the great love of God is holding us and will not allow more than we are able to endure, and an everlasting glory awaits us, joy unspeakable and full of glory! So we, his beloved children endure with all Gods children, knowing the narrow path requires sufferings, that if we share His suffering we shall also share His glory. Blessings, and thank you for your kind email, Melody.
