Is Your Dead Body Ruling?

As Christians we've vowed to the Lord our God that we are living sacrifices. Once we accepted Christ as our personal saviors and became born again we became "one of His". So then I wonder several things?...like why?...

Why do we worry?
Why are we anxious?
Why are we sad?
Why are we depressed?
Why do we overeat?
Why do our emotions fluctuate?

These these are not in place of God, in fact when Christ died on the cross He nailed each and every thing that is not of Him to it, He died and rose and still left all the things of the world and flesh behind. We being living sacrifices died along with Him. This has to be embedded within ourselves that we are committed to a life of Christ Jesus, and because of this we are not subjected to sin including worry. So we must know that when we submit to the Spirit of God, we are disallowing our flesh to rule, when flesh rules anxiety happens, depression, anger and worry kicks in. That being said: our submission to Christ is crucial, it's a recipe for a prosperous and joyous life..

So how, how do we deal with living in the Spirit as opposed to flesh..simply put..

Pray! Pray! Pray!

Prayer still works I would declare that it is one of the most powerful tools..In Philippians 4:6-7 it states "Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus".

I pray that you were blessed and this has encouraged at least one person reading.
God Bless beloved.

Romans 8:12

"Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh ye shall die; but if ye through Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live".
