A manís heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
Grace and peace be unto you my brothers and sisters,
Have you ever made plans for your life or plans period and they did not come to past as you planned it? You planned that you would be married by now, you planned that your mortgage would be paid off by now, you planned to have found employment by now, you planned that your kids would be moved out of the house by now, you planned that you would have retired by now, you planned to have your own business by now....and the plans go on and on. There is an old saying that ,"if you want to make God laugh tell him about what you are planning on doing." There is nothing wrong with having plans as a matter of fact, if you fail to plan then you plan to fail. What the scripture text is teaching, is that our plans have to take into considerations the plan that God have for our lives. The scripture declares in Jeremiah,' 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.God has already taken into consideration your future and he has plans to give you peace and not evil, and to give you a future and a hope.Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established. In other words, give your plans to the Lord and allow him to give you a plan in accordance to his will for your life, then he will give you the thoughts (mindset, ideas) to bring your plans to past. A mans heart plans his way but the Lord directs his steps because the steps of a good man or woman is ordered by the Lord! Allow the Lord to order your steps.....Order my steps Lord, in your word! Lead me, guide me, in your word Lord!
