Are You Having Just Another Day

Nothing to celebrate.
Just another day
Dripping with sorrow
Covered in pain.
Today is just like yesterday .
Yesterday is just like the day before.
When will my suffering end?

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

Oh, my Lord, give me the grace today
To face all the fears and trials
That come my way.
I do not know what to do.
Jesus, do you mind if I lean on you?

From whence cometh my help? I look to the hills. My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.

I am so weary and
I am sad.
I cannot make the darkness subside.
The heaviness weighs me down.
When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul.

Come to me for rest.

Problems abound,
Threatening to smother me.
I am overwhelmed by troubles and feel like
I cannot move.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
