“The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made” (Psalm 145:9).
Small of stature, rocklike in faith, Mother Teresa was entrusted with a mission of proclaiming God’s undying love to the poorest of poor. She had a soul filled with the Light of Christ and love for all humanity. Mother Teresa left a testament of kindhearted goodness with unshakable faith while serving God.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta lived a long life with extraordinary charity for others. Because she served the God of all hope, she had invincible ‘hope’ for everyone she encountered. The whole of her life and labor bore witness to the greatness and dignity of every living creature. She said, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them. Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
She believed when we face God seated on His throne, all actions are made known. From her poem “Anyway”: “People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered forgive them anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow, be good anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you, be honest and frank anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it’s between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.”
We learn a great deal from this woman of faith. She believed it was essential to know God is Good, all the time. Many times God’s children get worn down. I get weary. Yet, Jesus is the perfect comforter and strong encourager when we’re faint-hearted. He was tempted in all points such as we are, but did not sin (Hebrews 4:15).
“By blood I’m Albanian, by citizenship, an Indian, by faith, a Catholic Nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As for my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus” ~~~ Anjeze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (Mother Teresa) 1910-1997.
Mother Teresa didn’t rejoice because she understood, she rejoiced because she had a song.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
