MY LAST VISIT TO MY MOUNTAIN
I was actually on the mountain when the call came through.
The fellowship had started and as usual, I didn't want to pick it knowing it could distract my focus.
But I did.
Just then, I could sense the Holy Ghost was about to fall.
I always love that sensation, when I climb that beautiful mountain the Lord gave me to fellowship, and I sense the presence, yes the coming of the Holy Ghost!
Before I could utter a word the mountain began to shake.
It was as if the mountain (my mountain, the one I usually visit to pray) was jumping!
I sensed that another earthquake was about to occur.
My entire being was shaking as well.
The mountain beneath was quivering and trembling.
At the same moment the HOLY GHOST was coming!
I could feel it.
Yes, I could sense it!
Not only me for I could hear the speaking in tongues, gasps, groans and an approaching like thunder sound roar.
Then all of a sudden He came, the arrival of the Holy Ghost and the earthquake simultaneously occurred!
Suddenly,I heard the voice come through the phone.
"What ....what are you doing, what sound is that?" came the question.
Er....em....o! I...I am on the mountain...There... there was an earthquake, I managed to mumble! Forgetting I had earlier pressed the answer key to pick the call .
After moments of silence the voice came through again..."Well, okay...I hope it's on the mountain you usually visit? That place is safe. Otherwise, I ...I hope you are wearing a raincoat?"
I was momentarily embarrassed, even the mountain went silent after that.
I came down.
O, how I long and desire to travel again to visit my mountain!
