Forgiven Be Careful Judgment Is Still There
Before I start speaking I would like to before Ben, Faithwriters.com writers, readers and all the people of the world repent. Faithwriters.com has a policy that we not post more than 3 articles a day. I went far past that limit and I take this time to ask their forgiveness. Whatever judgment comes with this I am ready to endure it. I got carried away and excited about my writings and went too far. I broke the rules, crossed the boundaries and now whatever action deemed necessary I have to except the consequences. Again Faithwriters.com forgive me of my transgression.
It is God that builds us up and it is God that tears down the sin in the life of man. Jesus said in Mathew 5:23-26 that we are to bring our gift to the altar and if we remember that our brother has an aught against us we are to leave the gift at the altar and go be reconciled to our brother then come and offer our gift. We are to agree with the adversary quickly while we are in the way with them that we donít be delivered to the judge and cast into prison. He said by no means we come out without first paying the uttermost farthing. How do we think we can escape the wrath of God with our ways? How God raised Jesus Christ of Nazareth to be the Messiah; Jesus came to be because we sinned. Because of Jesus faithfulness to the call for which he came we have forgiveness today. He was sent with a purpose from Heaven but he had to walk out Salvation in the earth before he became the Messiah. What happens midway our call?
Matthew 23:8-11 but be not ye called Rabbi; for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth; for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters; for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servants. What has happened to men that they donít want to be servants anymore but Fathers (the head of God)? There are many earthly fathers but only one heavenly Father and thatís God Himself. There are those that go about killing the body of Christ unaware and souls are at stake. Men take matters into their own hands aborting the promises of God. They lean to their own understanding but God works against the grain of our thinking. We are not able to rely on our thoughts; our thoughts are after material things most times and we are never satisfied. We can accomplish things on this side of life even as sinners; but to accomplish spiritual things in this life we need God; his leading, guidance and direction.
Luke 12:5 but I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear. Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell, yea I say unto you, fear Him. Menís accomplishment includes but is not limited to the things we can bring about to completion; but those that God make happen in our lives we have to admit no one could have done it but God. It is God that gives men visions and provision to work the vision. Many men have succeeded in reaching the goals they set for ministry while others struggle. Does that mean they are better men? No. Should we look upon them as to what has been accomplished? No! We have a more crucial goal to meet and thatís to stand before God in holiness and righteousness and answer the call when it is made. God forgives men their sin but there is judgment that comes with that sin. The sin we are talking about today is the spirit of pride.
Pride causes men to seek the glory of people that only God should have. They become so prideful that they began to call Godís people their people. God can use one to hold all together to help them and they accuse them of stealing the hearts of the people to themselves. How foolish is that? They have a fear that will cause them to fall into the judgment of God and they not realize it. What they fail to see is that the person is just a servant and want God plans worked out not only in their life but in the life of the ministry. Helps is a ministry and a good work; it equips the ministry thoroughly with what it needs to propel to the next level. An accomplished gifted person in the ministry of helps is proficient as the result of practice or training. The gift can also be misused. High mindedness will cause us to not seek forgiveness but to look at our brother or sister like they are wrong when we are. High mindedness will cause us to get out of position midway our purpose. It will cause us to go to the left when we should be going to the right. It takes us out of a state of forgiveness for it makes us think we are all that in a bag of chips.
Jesus took a low road, humble and submissive to the call, will and purpose of God. He was come from heaven; so who are we surely we arenít God. God wants us to be a light in darkness. We need a mind to work, have the audacity to believe the whole Word and live the Word before man. We must be distinctively different. Examine ourselves and make sure we be found worthy of the call of God. Itís at the Name of Jesus that things happen. Every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord and every knee must bow down. Forgiveness calls for the same; we must first confess that we are wrong and get on the altar in prayer and ask for forgiveness. The Holy Ghost is a reminder to us to keep our minds stayed on Christ. He works seven days a week.
Just like Paul was sent to Ananais as a newly convert, forgiven for his sins and ready to be sent out. When Paul first met Jesus he was blinded; he had to lose his sight that he could see things Godís way. Now Jesus taught him for a time while he was blind and now was ready for him to see; for now he saw things Godís way. God had to tear up some things in Paulís life and now Paul was a good mess now; one that praised, worshipped, and he was an awesome man of prayer. When God takes time to make us we cannot forsake him by being high minded.
When the Word comes alive in our hearts itís the living Word; that same Word that now made Paul see. He was humble and submissive now, started a prayer meeting saying come by here and waiting at the altar for the Lord to speak. The scales fell from his eyes; Jesus changed his name from Saul to Paul giving him a new identity in Christ Jesus. He suffered many things, chastening, difficulties, and prison but the mess maker got saved and stayed saved. He didnít get halfway, get lifted up in himself and leaving God unaware. When he went back to Rome they said he was different and they didnít forgive him for it either. They considered him a traitor to their faith and Nero eventually killed him and took his head.
Pride caused Nero to do this. Pride causes us to chop each other up too. But forgiveness sets us free and the other person too. Who are we? Are we like the Lord? Do we know who we are in Christ? When we look in the mirror do we like the person we see? Jesus in Matthew 16:13-16 asked his disciples who do men say I am? Then he asked them who do you; say I am? Simon answering said thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. How do we know Jesus? Who do we say he is? Except we break down the walls of pride and allow God free course in our lives it wonít be revealed to us who he is either for it is spiritually discerned. Knowing one another is of the Spirit. When people identify us do they make reference to the spiritual you or the natural you? We want to be identified as the people of Christ so what is important about us is what God says about us. Forgiveness is important if we are in Christ and is never to be forgotten.
