Proverbs 21:10-16 the soul of the wicked desireth evil; his neighbor findeth no favour in his eyes. When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise; and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge. The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked; but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness. Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. A gift in secret pacifieth anger; and a reward in the bosom strong wrath. It is joy to the just to do judgment; but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
How many years do we have to go back before we realize we have been hoodwinked? Do we know the truth anymore? We must know of a certainty the words of truth and trust in the Lord. Bow down and hear the words of the wise and apply the words in the heart that they will not depart out of our lips. Many times we hear the Word but donít hear. We take of it what we want and leave out the more unpleasant part that we donít want to obey. Every Word of God is truth, profound; marked by intellectual depth, deeply or intensely felt, and is unbroken. We cannot add to it or take away from the Word. It must be saturated deep down within our hearts that we obey it. The truth is we have an enemy of God that steals the Word out of our mouth and changes it to fit his determined will. The secret beyond his doings is to build his already prepared kingdom with the souls of man.
When I was a child I thought as a child Paul said in I Corinthians 13:11 but when I became a man I put away childish things (when I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things). Why did Paul say this? Because as a child Paul was taught early on how to hate; they were to hate everyone that was not a Jew. What kept the others alive when the brute Paul grew up? When the people learned how to obey and follow instructions from their parents and authority they were spared many things even death. They were profiled so to speak but their lives were spared not because of what they saw, but by how well they obeyed what was told them. It is childish to think one is something when they are not. It is childish to think we will destroy another and get away with it. It is childish to think we can hit and not get hit back. As a man think in his heart, so is he.
In America we have a problem with obedience and when things happen we want to blame somebody. We fail to obey God and his authority. We fail to obey parents, grandparents and all else that is in authority because we have been profiled to do so. Our bad habits bring death, hell and destruction but we would rather take the role of the profiler rather than the role the Word of God has set forth. We fail to know what spirit is operating in and out of our lives because we donít read, less alone study the Word of God. We are lacking in values in America. No one wants to do what is necessary to make a difference in someone elseís life without bringing sorrow to them. God has chosen us from the beginning to be his! The earth is the Lordís and the fullness therein; where can we go to hide from Him?
When I was a child back in the sixties I heard Jesse Jackson say a mind is a terrible thing to waste. I really understood then that it meant more than just getting an education but applying that education to the biblical principles of life to use it for God. As a young child today we may say that my mother and father was not there but my grandparents instilled some things in me that lives with me today. I was taught that more than just getting an education I needed God. Along with that education I needed someone higher than this earth to watch out for me. I had to learn obedience and respect for parents, grandparents, neighbors, authority and God. They taught me the Ten Commandments and how important it was to obey them. Did I always obey? No! But they werenít ever far away from me.
The fifth Commandment to every child honor: thy father and thy mother in Exodus 20:12 are for children and teach obedience and reverence for those who sired them. Parents stand before God for their children and stands to their children in Godís stead. Any one in authority is to be obeyed in those things that are honorable and right before God. This Commandment enjoins a childís duty to God; disobedience being not only a sin against man but against God also. We as a people have a religious duty to perform unto man as if it is unto the Lord as referenced in Godís Holy Word. As parents must give an account of the children to God, the Spiritual Parent must also give an account of us to God (Hebrews 13:7 & 17). Obey those that have the rule over you.
We have a duty to do that which is right in the sight of God to the legitimate authority. When a child does not obey parents according to Ephesians 6:1 they cut their days short upon the earth. When we donít obey those that have the rule over us, we are insubordinate. Insubordination in the home leads to insubordination in the state. On the other hand obedience in the home is the best guarantee of national stability that our days may be long upon the land which the Lord Jehovah thy God has given us. The mother must get back in place alongside her husband. Even Jesus obeyed this Commandment so far as we know for thirty years. In either case we can survive adolescence and even the independence of adult life when we fall in line with Godís order.
When I became an adult I see what was meant by what he said. I see in todayís society the mind of the old and young deteriorating. Why is this? The mind can be controlled, it can be brain washed, and led away to think the way that others want it to think. We deal with the politics of everything. We deal with what we think or what others say we should think. We deal with what we are led to believe. Our thinking destroys generations; Godís Word is and should be the thinking agent of every man. There are in this world today unfortunately parents that promote disrespect and disobedience in the lives of their children. Children are having children and they themselves have not learned but think they are grown because they can have a baby. It used to be a family was a husband and wife and children; now it is husband and husband, wife and wife, and letís adopt children. Then the children become messed up and it twinkles down the line with the disorder in the brain cells concerning what life is really meant to be for family. Not only that but the fathers have abandoned the family and the children are left unprotected by the provider and protector of the family.
As far as the black man in America supposedly has come; they are still controlled by what has kept them bound for many years. They still fail to realize that the book they are to follow and lean on is the Bible. Within the confines of the Bible are all the issues of life dealt with. Within there are the guidelines for a manís life from beginning to end. We cannot allow what is going on in America today to sidetrack us. Yes a young manís life was taken a while back but how many more have we ourselves taken. Pay attention all of the young kids that have lost their lives to murder in one way or another is very less glamourized. Itís for a reason; wake up. One life is gone but how many more do we have to lose because of his outright disobedience to his parents, grandparents, and authority? If we really cared about this young man began to teach our children to have some respect and obey God, parents, grandparents and authority instead of protesting and having marches that only stirs up strife and more death.
If we say we are so sorry for him, think about what all this is doing to his parents that loved him so much. First they have to deal with his death. They have to get to a point of not blaming themselves in one way or another for not being there. They have to wonder if they did something different whether he would be alive or not. Trust me only God knows where death is for any of us. When someone dies if we didnít take their life we are not responsible but we can make ourselves responsible because we feel in some point or the other we have failed them. His parents need peace, not more riots and stirring of more death in the air. They need to know that the next child is not being put in danger. When it comes down to it whoever is to blame, both were at fault in some point of initial contact. Anger stirs up strife. We as a people are stirred by the news, the television is the modern day devil, and he is behind all that happened.
The Devil is here to steal life; kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly St. John 10:9-10. Abundantly in what; itís not the things Jesus told us we were not to seek after (Matthew 6:33) but an abundance of heaven on earth. Heaven on earth what does that mean? The Kingdom of heaven is not meat and drink as we seek to have plenteous of but peace, joy, and righteousness in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). In the beginning man was a spirit being roaming free in the earthen realm not really knowing that they were flesh and blood! What peace, joy, and righteousness they possessed. They were rich in what God had given them; rich in spiritual abundance having dominion over everything God had created in the earth for them to have. But rather than enjoy everything else they had to have at the one forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden. God had given them a paradise. God created them and made them but they made things bad through disobedience that caused not only them death but the whole of humanity since.
That same spirit still lives on in man today. Man causes death to his own children when they donít chastise them; they donít love them. Children are just carefree, running loose and wild with no parental control in any area. The daddy is nothing but a sperm donor and the mother no longer wants to mother but just be a mama. Making a baby doesnít mean we are men and women; it means we have a responsibility for another life. A child is being neglected of its values and real meaning of life because they are without a father in the home and pretty much not a mother either. This is the God honest truth if we be really true about it. A child lives what they learn and learns what they live.
A childís environment can be great but if no morals are enlisted in their heart they will stray. Solomon in (Proverbs 22:6 train up a child in the way they are to go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it) gives us the profound truth of training a child. If they are disobedient to parents their days are not long on the earth. If they donít want to obey, God donít promise to lengthen their days. Disobedience shortened the days of man from a promised one hundred twenty years to only seventy years of age. A man void of understanding and knowledge lacks wisdom in his soul. The soul of the wicked desire to do evil; his neighbor will not find favor in his eyes. When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise; and when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge. We as a people have programmed God out and allowed the evil one Satan to dictate our lives. We have taken on Satanís nature rather than hold fast the nature of God. We have allowed him to program our minds and use his teaching rather than Godís Word. We operate off of a chip rather than the program God has given us when he created us.
We make computers to teach our children rather than do the work ourselves. We have allowed too many scapegoats to take the place only we as a people were to occupy in divine order from God. We have allowed the enemy of our soul to program thoughts in our minds that only come to destroy us and all the generations to come. All of Satanís means is to predispose us to behave in a certain way, have a certain mindset and draw us away from God. He has conditioned man to fall outside of the Will of God and we know it not. He entertains our flesh and we surrender it to him for his use rather than God use us. When he hear us talking to God about some plan or procedure we must follow to deal with a situation he interjects his theory and causes us to miss God in some form or another.
The profound truth is we need to know God, His Spirit, and His Word if we are going to recognize who it is that is speaking to us. We must know the spirit operating and its operation.
The righteous man will wisely consider the house of the wicked; but God overthrow the wicked for their wickedness. Whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. A gift in secret pacifies anger; and a reward in the bosom strong wrath. It is joy to the just to do judgment; but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. How long will we remain ignorant and unlearned concerning the things of God?
Know what spirit is operating in and around us. Every spirit we encounter is not from God; His Spirit alone was to rule man. We must move forward in the profound truth of the Word of God. Satan was not created to be evil but through disobedience became evil. He was once good but turned bad when he decided he wanted to be God. He has projected that he would rule a kingdom but itís not the Kingdom of God and he wants us to be a part of his burning kingdom. Think it is hot now hear in the earth, just go to hell it burns much hotter than here. The enemy of our soul wants us to base our lives on his own ideas, impulses, or emotions that are considered undesirable and cause anxiety in the lives of Godís people.
We must base our lives on the conscious Word not the unconscious act or process ascribed to us by Satan that imply a jutting out abruptly beyond the rest of the surface. We should see the horns sticking out the side of his head when he speaks to us. Everything we see about him is of an abnormal or disfiguring nature. His words are often swelling, a lie and deceptive. Watch that dog. When are we going to stop taking everything thrown at us as a grain of salt?
Satan reaps to man wrath from God when they refuse time and time again to search out the truth, the intellectual depth of God that can only be found in his Word. Every other idea or matter is not important to the soul. Serving God is a progressive moving forward or onward continuing by successive steps. Satan can only live through us and we must not let him dwell.
