Impudent Face

This is a face one puts on when they refuses to come to Christ with a repentant heart. They boldly say I love what I am doing and will not stop. They are shameless (having or showing no feeling of shame, modesty or decency), immodest (not shy or humble, bold, forward) disrespectful (discourteous, impolite, or rude), and insolent (boldly disrespectful in speech or behavior, arrogantly contemptuous; overbearing, proud). They are saucy (rude) in their ways. The person that wears this face has no connection with a given matter that is relevant and shows no respect to anything or anyone that matters. They live an inappropriate life that is not suitable to life itself. They will say anything for they are forward in their speech and actions that are disrespectful and oversteps the bounds of propriety or courtesy.

This face is the face of one that lives a shameless and brazen impertinence. They are defiant to all that matters in life and God. Disrespectful they are and display openly insulting and contemptuous speech and behavior that is flip and provocative levity toward one to whom respect should be shown. This is the face of the world today in which we live. Accept God builds a house it is good for nothing but to be cast down. In the world in which we live we are subjected to many unpleasant and awkward situations because we have not become shame enough of what is going on around us. We are too acceptable of sin. When we the church learn to recognize who we are and realize that we have a vital part to play in what is acceptable in this world we will go to the throne of Grace as we should. Just the very thought of certain lifestyles should make us sick.

This face the world is walking around with is wrecking-havoc in the lives of young people everywhere. They donít have a chance to grow up because some idiotic adult has lost their mind and perverts the minds of the young. The young people growth is being disrupted daily with the perversion that goes on in this world today. Satan seeks to cut man off from even coming to know God at all. With the stuff that is happening to children today why would they think that a God exists? We have to protect our children, grandchildren and the generations to come. Itís time to wake up Church; be real we donít smell the sweet aroma of the Holy Spirit but a stench of sin in the air everywhere. Sin stinks up the world and all that live in it. We donít have to be accepting when it comes to what we know to be wrong. For what price are we selling out our souls? This is a face worn by one that is impenitent; without regret, shame or remorse, unrepentant. They only allow the Word of God to pass through their hearing refusing to turn away from sin.

Peace offerings are passed on to us to keep our mouths shut concerning the things that go on in the world. Are we really that deceived? What affects one affect all; what Adam did all of those thousands of years ago affect us still today. By one manís disobedience sin came into the world and by one manís obedience sin has to depart. Adam came into the world created a spirit being, male and female. He was then made by the Creator a man of the dust of the earth. God made him a body to embody the spirit being created to keep the earth God created. God then saw that he was alone in that everything else that crept upon the earth had a living mate. God then laid Adam down upon the earth and performed the first caesarian in the earth; he took out of man his mate and laid her to his side. Woman came out of man he no longer had a female part. Why do we sell ourselves short in the earth? We were not made like animals so why do we act like them? We were special made to Godís perfection. What a God!

What are we offering back to God for what He has done for us? An offering is that which is offered; specifically that which is presented in divine service; a gift offered with some symbolic intent to a deity, a sacrifice; an oblation. Offerings to God can be traced from the dawn of human history; vegetable offering (Gen. 4:3); sacrifice of the firstling of the flock (Gen.4:4); the burnt offering (Gen. 8:20), the sacrificial meal (Gen. 31:54); and the drink offering (Gen. 35:14). The Law of Moses given to him by God for the people of God regulated the system of offerings to God. Jesus offered up his life that ours may be saved. What are we willing to offer to God? It takes more than a life; are we willing to give ours that God would be glorified?

We must meet God diligently. It means that we persevere and is careful in our work, and is industrious. We seek to do our work for God with careful steady painstaking effort. We esteem God highly with much perseverance; we go through with Him. It means we give a higher degree of attention or care to what we do for God than our own self. Only what we do for Christ will last and everything we do for Him must be done as if it is our last time doing it. Nothing should be taken for granted. What God has done, what Jesus has done, and what the Holy Ghost is doing has been and is considered as true, already settled, requires no special attention and accepted as a matter of course. We have to get ourselves together to receive of the promise that has already been given and proven.

We have been given by Jesus eternal life. It is the same eternal life man was intended to when we were created. We were set apart for the purpose of bringing glory to God. This gift was taken from Lucifer, (now Satan) and transferred over to man. He was the most beautiful angel in heaven that was over the praise and worship. He lost the privilege when he became Godís number one enemy and now he is manís number one enemy. We must understand that Satan is the father of all lies, sin, and deception. He is a spirit that implants himself in the heart and mind of man to steal manís soul and divide Godís Kingdom. We are given to understand this and believe that the Word of God is true. When we seek God with all diligence we seek to know Him.

We seek his face and desire to wear a face of holiness, righteousness, and sanctification in our everyday life. We sacrifice and devote all to God wholly. We cease sin, admit failure, stop trying to win without him and lose hope for the despair sin brings. Possession of all we have is turned over to God; He owns everything anyway. He wants to control us through his Spirit after all it was his Spirit that gave us life; and He the Spirit was breathed in man and man became a living soul. Why canít we trust God enough to give all over into his hands? Canít God do a better job with us than we can? Of course thatís what has us in the mess we are in, trusting in that that does not matter. We are selling our soul short every day when we donít give God his due. God has already imparted in us what it is He wanted to use in us.

We cannot get exhausted, defeated, disgusted, bored, or ready to quit in the way. We really have it good and not know it; God settled our issues at Calvary. Itís not important for us to be popular; Christ is. We need to be useful to God and accepted in His Kingdom. It is He that causes us to be comfortable in uncomfortable circumstances and situations. It is He that makes us to be unquestionably without doubt when it comes to us being our best for Him. He possesses our lives in his hands, performs in us what He wants done in the earth and man cannot hold us to any disadvantage when it comes to God. Satan cannot deceive us when we hold fast the Word of God. He is no battle to God for God won the battle in Heaven and Jesus won the battle in the earth. Satan is a defeated foe and his desire is to have us defeated too! He is hell bound and desires to have us with him in that day. If we seek the face of God we cannot be deceived so readily, taken in or cheated on. We will not engage in things unpleasing to the Lord so readily.

When we are seekers of God we will find Him. We will find Him because He is not lost we are. We must seek for his strength by seeking His face continually. We are to set our heart and our soul to seek the Lord our God forevermore. David said in Psalm 119:2 blessed are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. Our whole heart, mind, soul, spirit and body must seek for God. Are we a body divided in parts or are we a whole body? Can the arm go up and praise God without the support of the muscles? Can the feet go where the body doesnít follow? Can the mouth speak what the mind and heart has not already entertained? God want us to seek him with all that we are and have. If we seek Him we will come to understand Him.

We the people of God must seek Him and call on Him. Isaiah 55:6-7 seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near, let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. We must seek good and not evil that we may live. We must be meek in the earth, wrought his judgment, seek righteousness, and seek meekness that we may be hid in the day of the Lordís anger (Zeph. 2:3). We seek righteousness when we seek God it is our hunger and thirst for Him. Whatsoever it is we need from God if we seek him we will find it. God is the very breath we breathe if we seek for Him and we would want Him to be our last breath here on earth; it is in Him we live, move, and have our being.

Give Him our all and all. Are we ready to offer up worship in the beauty of holiness to God? Our worship includes what we bring before God, presents to Him, and show in the way we live. The prayers and sacrifices we make should be to His glory only. We should only look for approval and acceptance from God. When we present our offering for consideration we must know that
God will be pleased with it.

What we bring before God and when we leave to serve Him we should have the smell of Him, that sweet Aroma of The Spirit. When we surrender all to Him we will care about what concerns Him. Jesus rebuked the devil (Matt. 4:10), so must we! We must have that same like passion and character that Jesus had. He came and lived in the earth to show us how that we too must do. The example is there for us if we want to follow it. If we follow on to know the more of God through Christ Jesus and come to understand how that we too can be all that has ordained us to be we too can walk victoriously in the earth.

Our character must be that of a pure heart, we must face the persecution that comes with being a Christian from the enemy, and hate sin; going as far away from sin as possible. When we are persecuted for righteousness sake we know that the kingdom of heaven is ours; men shall hate us and separate us from their company, reproaching us, and cast out our name as evil for the Son of manís sake, (Luke 6:22). All that hates the light neither come to the light unless their deeds are reproved. When truth comes and we receive it; it becomes a part of us; we confess that our character, call, and appointment assures us that we have salvation through Christ Jesus.
