My life was filled with darkness,
And I couldn't find my way.
I tried to find it on my own,
But I was led astray.
I wandered alone without a guide,
Lost in a frightening place.
I didn't know which way to turn,
Until I found God's grace.
I gave my life to Jesus,
And then I saw the light.
The path seemed clear before me.
My future would be bright.
So if your way seems dark and lonely,
And your future's full of fear.
Remember that the Lord is with you,
Just ask and He'll draw near.
