Camping is fun. When I was in grade school, I joined a girl scout camping. We slept in a tent. Though we were given tasks to perform, we enjoyed them. The camp lasted for three days only. Then, we went home. It was an exciting adventure for me! Not only I enjoyed it, I also learned from it.
Just like that camping, life on earth is a temporary setting. Man is a camper. His body is his tent. Earth is the campsite. Beloved, we are sent by God to this camp that we may do the work He gave us. The rule is as we enjoy this camp, we must not get engrossed. We must learn to number our days. Remember that this world weíre living in is not our eternal dwelling nor our body our eternal clothing. We donít belong here. This place is not our home. When our mission is done, itís time to be gone. God prepared a city for us, a heavenly country. Letís not forget that weíre just campers here. Those who forget that they are campers are the ones who forget their way back home.
Good news! We are the last batch of campers. Soon the Master will be here and this camping will soon be over. Be found by Him living just like a camper.
