Life’s storms are not looked forward to by any of us. And they are sometimes long tough struggles and sometimes they are short and easily weathered, either way, we cannot go through them alone. We need Christ to walk us through, not a friend or family or pastor, but Jesus, because Jesus is strong enough to pull us through the worst of storms, the others that are human, even though we love them and are loved by them, they cant fight the storm for us. These people can be there for support and love, I’m not saying they can’t or shouldn’t be there to ley us lean on them during the hard times. But I am saying they cant help us fight the storm, that is what Christ’s Hand is out for, to set us back upon the troubled water that we are sinking in.
God allows the storm to approach for a reason, it could be to make us stronger, or to test our faith or to bring us closer to Him or to even teach us, only He knows. Each of us have our own storms to contend with, so we shouldn’t enter into a storm of another, friend, family or otherwise. If God feels we need to weather a storm similar to theirs, He will allow us to enter one. We can be there as loving support and keep their hope and faith alive in God, but we should resist entering their storm because its not our storm to weather. God has allowed this storm to come upon them for a reason, so maybe He is making them stronger through it.
So the next time you or a friend or family or loved one sees a storm of life approaching, support eachother with love and understanding and remind eachother to call on the only Hand that can pull us out of the water, call on Christ.
Oh children of God, He hears your cries, He feels your sorrows and sufferings. So much pain He feels from this world, it overwhelms His heart with emotion. He does not understand why you forsake Him, your Father. He is here to pull you up and break you free from the bonds and chains of this place. Why do you hear Him not? Has He not given you life and the choices to make? He allows you to make choices, but you choose things not of Him, and then lay blame upon Him for your transgressions and sufferings. This world has nothing to offer you, yet He offers life, forever in warmth and grace and peace in His Holy Kingdom, yet you turn from this free gift. You rather turn to things that has a price of darkness to partake of.
What more can He do for you? What He has is Light. All that is needed is to just say yes to Christ to gain freedom from this place. Yes, He asks for your heart, but how can that be a such a great price to pay by giving Him your heart when He gives you life? If there is a price for what He asks of you, the price is living forever. There are trials, and tests within this world, for those that follow Him, maybe you consider that a price to pay. But rather a sacrifice of giving up this world to live forever than to covet this place and its things for a promise of death.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in my infirmities, in reproaches, in necessitites, in persecutions, in distress for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Take the ointment of The Son, Jesus, and wipe your eyes until they are opened wide. Hold the Hand of Jesus over your ears and hear your Father’s voice. Baptize your flesh in the oil of Christ for His blood will bring alive your spirit of which He will live. He is not of this world, but is of the Kingdom of Heaven and also of you if you accept Him. This world and all of its things shall pass away soon but His Heavenly Home will never perish. Partake of Him and never die or choose this world made of flesh and forever live in the death of darkness.
So many are weak and injured, let Him heal your soul and mend your broken wings so that you may fly as the eagle and live in freeness. Stop breathing the air of sickness and take in a breath of God, for God will give you healing and live within your heart and soul. Surrender to Him and open up, let Christ in. His love for you is so great that He gave His only Son and submitted Him to torture and death, to give you a Way out of this dying place. Call to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. Be loved and comforted for all of your days and when the vessel you reside in fades away, God will take your precious spirit and make you holy and bring you to live in The Heavenly Kingdom forever, and ever.
