“The Devil’s Playground”
July 2, 2013
God tells me that His heart is greatly filled with sorrow. He sees all of His creation, the beauty and life He gave to this world, turning into darkness and wickedness. He says that confusion has swarmed His own people, His church. What He said next is extremely important, He said that we must always remember His words in the Bible, that He, our God, never gives or is of confusion, therefore, with confusion overtaking His church, something not of Him is within.
People upon this earth are blinded, spiritually blinded. They have been since the beginning of time with the fall of mankind in the garden. But things have gotten drastically bad in these times and blindness is thriving and growing rapidly in His own church. The blindness keeps the people from even knowing what is happening, they don’t even see that they are slipping off of His path and following the lovely voice of the enemy. And their error has brought a decision that He never wants to make, the decision to open their eyes through discipline. People of Him have veered off of His path to far and God has had enough. It was time for Him to show them just who He is, and most importantly, to show them just who they have been following and to show them exactly who satan is.
Now, here is the reason for the title. The Devil’s Playground, it sounds like a book or a movie doesn’t it. Well, when it comes to God, there is no movie, there is no book, because God is much deeper and real than a movie or book. People, listen closely, because this is not just a story or a tv show, this is real life and it is coming from the real and living God. And true life is exactly a battle between good and evil, it’s a fight for life, not just on earth, but an eternal life. The choice made of who you follow will give you life eternal or it will give you the most horrific eternal death. But what people don’t realize is that just one little tiny detail in your life here on earth can make the deadly difference. It can be the smallest of choice, an after-thought excusing without discipline or they think He didn’t see what the little sin because He did nothing to them for it. People, wake up! God sees all, hears all and knows all! He is not allowing any sin, be it large or small or in between, and He is making note of it in your life’s book. If you just go on like nothing happened, and never repent that sin, you will, and I mean, YOU WILL, stand before God in judgment someday and you will be held accountable for every sin you have committed that was not repented before Him while you lived your life on this earth. Sometimes God waits for the right moment to come down on us to show us that He knows all about that secret we carry. When we least expect it, when life is going so wonderfully, God will send down His discipline upon our lives. So many people have the false thinking that God is good and is of love and will never hurt us, which is true to an extent, He does love us all and is of goodness, however, it is that love for us that brings the discipline upon us. If He didn’t care for us or love us, He would just turn His head and let us doom our own life.
Time of Christ’s return is too near to be so flip and uncaring about how we are living our lives. God sent His expectations and commandments to us through His Word for a reason…. To live by it! The Bible is not just a reading book or a book to preach about or teach about or hear about like a history book. The Bible is here for followers and servants of God to be a guideline of how we live. We are not to assume something is okay because we don’t understand the Bible either. When we don’t understand God’s Word, we are to go to God Himself. Yes it is okay to ask for help of those serving God and those that are strong in His Word such as ministers or teachers, however, be very careful of going on the interpretation of a human because humans have weakness and no matter how close to God they may seem to be, they are never so strong to stand against satan on their own. And we just never know when God just may test our faith and allow satan to whisper a little twist of scripture, even just one little word, which can happen to anyone. God is sending tests to His people all of the time so we should never let our guard down and we should never become so arrogant that we think we will never fall to satan’s temptation. When we don’t understand God or His Word, and even thought someone else has given their understanding to help us, we should ALWAYS go to God and ask for His help to understand. Besides, why wouldn’t we go to God to begin with, I mean, God is the one that spoke the His Own Words, right?
If you don’t remember anything else, please remember this because this is very important, never ever tempt God. By saying this, I am not just speaking about tempting Him with our words. I mean, never tempt God by sneaking over into the devil’s playground to play just for a little bit. This is a huge temptation in God’s eyes. When we sneak off to play with the devil, no matter how short of time, we are telling God that we have no respect for Him and that we can do whatever we want no matter what He has told us or done for us. We are telling God that satan has something so much better than He does that we have to hide and sneak away to play. Is this what we want God to think of us? Do we want Him to think He has nothing to offer us that will make us happy like satan can? I am positive that this is not making God angry at us, but rather it is hurting Him greatly. How can we just go on so lightly in our repetitive sin knowing we are hurting God so much.
In closing, let me throw out this question, Are you being a faithful servant to God and never slipping off for a brief moment to indulge in that tiny little sin that you feel is so good you can’t cease in doing? Are you sneaking into the devil’s playground while being a servant of God? Its never too little to ask that we as God’s servants step back and take check on our actions in our life. This should be done daily and we should strive to rid ourselves of that little sin, or big sin, through repentance. And remember, repentance means to ask forgiveness and to commit that sin no more. Get into your Bible, get into your God, and most importantly, get out of the devil’s playground now.
Scripture to relate to:
“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” -John 8:10-11
“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,” -Hebrews 10:26
“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” -John 5:14
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3:19
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” -James 1:5 (wisdom meaning: understanding)
