Last days, end times or day of the lord

Which one is it really? There are two ways to look at and approach the end times or what ever one decides to call it, but it is the day that the world as we know it- will change forever.

What are we suppose to do in the end times, and what do we really mean by the term "end times" or "last days". We through human eyes see it as being bad things happening, earth quakes, bad weather, economic problems and several wars to mention a few. God may see it differently, maybe God sees it as a time of discipline, correction and of cleansing, to guide or try and force us to change our ways before it is to late and as a sign or warning to prepare for His coming to earth to straighten out the mess we have made. We can look at it as something like very great birth pains before a new and beautiful thing that we and God cherishes the most in our lives a new born baby our very own child coming forth to be with us forever. If one reads Isaiah 2:17 one gets a glimpse into Gods point of view about the end times or the day of the lord, it states, "the arrogance of man will be brought low and the pride of men humbled; the lord alone will be exhaulted on that day, and the idols will totally disappear." does the world make idols of money, possessions and even sex as well as many other things today?

One, we see from this passage, why there will be a day of the Lord or end times, as we see in Isaiah 2, it is because of the sin of the human race in the latter days. We see that it is not just a mystical day that God has decided out of the blue but it is because man walks so far away from how God desires and created the world to be lived in that He has to do something about it. Two, one can truly see it is the day that the lord will be exhaulted in human eyes by his physical appearance that all human beings will see God on that day. amen.

What do we do in these difficult times until that day of the lord comes? and really what are we suppose to do until that day comes? Well to be honest there is not much we really can do as we find written about in the days of Noah, things went on as normal, so it will be when Jesus returns as we find written in Matthew 24:37. "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark."

The only things we really can do is to not give up. We need to endure to the end, too hold on to our faith and try not to conform to the worlds ways. the world and its ever changing of moral standards is a devastating thing. It is ever so slow and progressive, but very real and very life altering..

We need to find strength in the last days before the great day of the lord- the lords day. We need to endure to the end as Daniel 12:12 and the book of revelations 2:26 tells us too.
