We as parents, bosses, spouses, authorities…etc all require and hold on to an absolute that obedience is something not so much expected but demanded.
When there is a departure from it a willful revolt we feel as though our rights have been ignored and, therefore the wrong needs to be justified.
We form a “No EXCUSE POLICY” in our minds.
Question: Why than when it comes to obeying G-d suddenly our minds and hearts pour forth….I would but….or if only…..or maybe if you. Simply put what we as human beings so forcefully command of others seems to be of a greater importance than what HaShem asks of us. Why? All he asks is for pure obedience of the heart, and yes we fail as our fellow human beings fail us, but there is a striking difference….His forgiveness is beyond human comprehension. When we stand angrily pointing fingers HaShem is there reaching down to forgive and restore us. With this said if you expect unwavering obedience from others I encourage you this day to also give that same obedience to the Master of all of us…HaShem and without EXCUSE.
