There were two young friends nearing middled (muddled) age, a man and a woman attracted to one another, clearly if not equally attracted to one another. The young man made no advances until one day the young woman began to think what her culture was teaching her to think: 'Is there something wromg with me? Am I losing my charms?" So she tried to encourage his advances, but still to no avail. Then she began to think as her culture was teaching her to think: "Is there something wrong with him? Maybe so, since he wasn't and isn't behaving as most men would." And so it was that there wasn't really anything "wrong with her" or anything "wrong with him" so much as something beginning to be right with them both! A process seemed to be unfolding at its own rate, its own pace, the assembling of a foundation that could last a long long time
