Is It Because
Why is it that so many people are at a loss
when they think about Jesus and the Cross?
Is it because the severity of sin's price
or is it the reality of a Human Sacrifice?
Is it because the cross's cruel form
or is it because at the Cross one can be transformed?
Is it because at the Cross one finds direction
or is it that it symbolizes Jesus' Resurrection?
Is it because man could be driven to do so much
or is that Jesus wasn't saved by God's touch?
Is it because a simple tree can provide The Way
or is it because spiritual things tend to be grey?
Is it because man wants to do things on his own
or is it because they don't want God on their throne?
When we focus and look to Jesus who was on the Cross
that's when we'll no longer be at a loss.
