Below is an my own elaboration on the prophetic word that God gave to me entitled “Warning to the Church” “Spiritual Blackheads”
If Jesus came back today, would you be ready? It's a question that demands your attention. It is literally a life or death question. The bible declares that no man knows the day nor the hour that Christ shall return. Not even the angels in heaven know when that great day shall come. It will be a surprise to all of God's creation.
A surprise is when something totally unexpected happens to you. It is a sudden unexpected event that leaves you astonished. I've learned during my lifetime that there are good surprises and there are bad surprises. And some are actually anticipated surprises. I'm sure that you have said or you've heard someone say, "surprise me" when asked by someone what to get for a Christmas present or birthday present etc... You know that you are going to get something, although you don't know what. And there is a growing anticipation in your spirit to receive this great surprise. The closer you get to the event, the more you anticipate the surprise.
In the case of the return of Jesus, I wouldn’t' dare wonder or anticipate WHAT my surprise will be. I want to KNOW that my surprise will be heaven. His coming won't even surprise me because I will be ready. And if you are a true child of God, his coming won't surprise you either because it's to be expected. But woe unto you if you are not ready, for it will then be too late. You need to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when Christ returns, you will go back with him. We need to monitor the spiritual temperature of the world. By monitoring the temperature of the world, it will let us know when the temperature is right for the return of Christ. In order to monitor the temperature, you need a thermostat. The bible is that thermostat. It never fails. It never gives an inaccurate temperature reading. According to the scripture below, the temperature is perfect for the return of Christ.
Matthew 24:3-14: And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.)
Every event that is mentioned in Matthew 24:5-14 has already happened or is currently happening in the world today. The last prophecy mentioned here is that the gospel shall be preached in all of the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come. With the technology that we have today, the gospel is already being preached around the world. Because of this, we know that the end is very near. But there is one more prophecy that has to be fulfilled. And that prophecy is that Christ is going to present himself to a church that is holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:25 & 27: …even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
I don’t know if you have been paying attention or not. But it seems that everywhere you turn today, the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are preaching about “church folks.” Holy Hypocrites. Lukewarm Saints. (Sidebar--If what I just said offended you, or struck a nerve, keep reading and you might get delivered…) Is this coincidental? No. Because although there are many ministers, there is only one Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord said to me, "I am coming back for a church that is without spot or blemish. Right now, my church is full of blackheads. They have allowed the impurities and the filthiness of the world to seep into its pores so that I can't breathe. I am popping the blackheads. I am getting the stuff of the world out of them. My bride will have no blemishes."
Spiritual blackheads. Those were powerful words that the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me. A blackhead actually clogs the pores of the skin. The skin is the covering for the body. The Spirit can't breathe like he wants to because of the spiritual blackheads that are in the church. I do believe that God can do anything he wants to do, how he wants to do it, because He is sovereign. However, he also gives us free will. There are churches all over the world today that are not experiencing the full manifestation of the presence of God. Why is this? Because there are too many blackheads in the body. And The Spirit of the Lord will not dwell in an unclean place.
How will the church be without blemishes unless the blemishes are exposed?
One interesting thing about blackheads is that they are hard to see from a distance. You have to get real close to the mirror to see them and sometimes you still won’t see them. There are too many "saints" today who are LIPPING the word instead of LIVING the word. These blackheads sit in church on Sunday, but they are hard to spot. All of the Sunday makeup hides the true blackheads that they are. They put on their church face. They lift up holy hands and speak in tongues. They shout and some of them even teach and sing in the choir. They are so well covered that don’t see them as blackheads. But God knows who they are. And in these last days, as the word of God is being preached, they are forced to stare very closely into the mirror of God’s word so that they can see themselves as the spiritual blackheads that they are. They realize that there is stuff in them that needs to be squeezed out. And the only person that can squeeze out the “stuff” is the spirit of God.
Are you a spiritual blackhead? Do you find yourself talking about other people or do you find yourself talking about Jesus? Do you find yourself tearing down people or building them up? Do you gossip? Are you a backstabber? Do you murder and cut people down with that unruly thing in your mouth called the tongue? Do you harbor resentment or hatred in your heart toward someone? Is every other word out of your mouth a curse word? Do you have a lustful or wandering eye? Do you live like the devil Monday through Saturday and then come to church on Sunday and put on your church makeup to disguise the blackhead that you truly are?
Your response is prayerfully no. But if your answer is yes, then it’s probably being followed with the excuse, “but everyone does that…” Will that excuse stand on the Day of Judgment? No it won’t. As a matter of fact, if that is your excuse, God will tell you on judgment day to depart from him, for he never knew you.
You are not everyone. You are in the world but you are not of the world. Therefore you must refrain from thinking and acting like the world. Well, how do you do that? How do you stop doing the things that make you a stench in the nostrils of God? The answer…YOU can’t. You can’t do it. But God did not leave you here by yourself. He left you with a helper. And that helper is the Holy Spirit of God. If you yield to the Holy Spirit, He will do a work in you that will blow your mind. Once He is done cleaning you up, there will be no more worldly “stuff” left in you. You will no longer be a blackhead but you will be a reflection of your heavenly Father.
God’s spirit wants to breath in these last days like never before. But in order to do that, he has to get rid of the blackheads that are clogging up the skin of the church. I pray that you are not one of them. But if you are, you can say this prayer right now and allow the Spirit of God to clean you up.
I know that I haven’t been the child that you’ve called me to be. I’ve messed up and disappointed you. And for that, I am sorry. I’ve been a spiritual blackhead. But I want to start over. I yield myself to your Holy Spirit so that He can make me pleasing to your eyes. And I look forward to the day that you return for me without spot of blemish. And from this moment on, my past has been nailed to the cross. I have been forgiven and look forward to a new future in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
