There are Christians today that are caught in the web of gambling. There are some Christians that think that they can control it and just gamble a few rand for the fun of it and to relax and have a good time. But the truth is it controls you, regardless of how little money or time you spend, it still has the power to lure you back to come and gambling out a portion of your money. It may be that it lures you back on a Sunday, then forgetting to attend the church Service?
What happens if you win something, whether it is a small or big amount? Most of the time you will gamble it back, sometimes you will spend it on something you will need? As Christians are we not suppose to rely on God for all or needs, financially or otherwise, instead of our own little wills?
Where does your few rand go to, does it go to charity or welfare organisations? Does it go towards the work of God? Who benefits from your gambling money, little as it may be? Look out of the box and find the answer yourself. Then there are examples of Christians that develop into addiction to gambling and replace God with gambling god. Just to lose al they have in the end of the day? Wonder if it was worth the risk to push God away and replaced it by something they thought could provide better for the needs? I do not think so!
AVIOD GAMBLING IT IS A CANCER TO THE CHRISTIAN SOUL!
