God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. You should know the circumstances surrounding this. Very early in the morning he took off, this instruction took him three days and he placed this child on the altar ready to kill and burn. Wonderful God was nearby looking at his friend, the one he placed his everlasting trust on.
This old man who will not have any hope of the promise being fulfilled after the death of Isaac went ahead. He laid his altar, tied the boy, and took his knife, and raised it up. He was not pretending, he would have done it but God was nearby watching the man He called his friend.
At that junction, God could no longer hold himself in the land of moriah, He found among men someone who has nothing to restrict from him in the land of Moriah and God gave several unrestricted blessings. No one on the surface of the earth can stand this man in blessings. He said through his angels out of heaven that “… By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing , and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Gen 22:1
There is a resting place for promises that God gives, at that moment nothing on the surface of the earth could change, pervert or corrupt. At that place, God’s blessing has no restriction. It is the place where God is willing to pour all of him on to us; that place is called the land of Moriah in one of the mountain called Calvary.
It is the place when there is no restriction within you and around that is strong enough to restrict you from giving anything to God. No one on the surface of this earth can do that and you are willing to give anything to God on demand or not.At this place, God is always waiting for people to confirm his blessing, multiply His wonder and seal His covenant. It is a place where the God of heaven get too emotional to let you go without embarrassing your present and future with His blessings
Men and women that God met in this place become special in the kingdom. Is there anything that you cannot give to God? When there is still restriction in your submission unto him there will be restriction to the extent to which God can bless you. He will like to be sure you have given all to be qualified to have his all.
While I write this work, I remember one experience I had with him. I was in a retreat, for some days, while everyone had gone and I decided to stay over and trash some issues out. While the Lord told me some things which I jotted but one of the principle he gave was “the more you give the less you lose!” it took me time to understand this very well until, the morning I was to write this work while studying the life of the Man Abraham, that He brought my understanding to this.
If you give God little you stand the chance to lose many things. If you give God half, then you stand the chance to lose half at least. If you give God much, at least you still stand the chance of losing something. But if you give him all, then you stand the chance of losing nothing, you have given all. That is the principle in the land of Moriah.
Father Abraham gave all and God sealed his covenant. How much you have given to God determines how much of God you will have. If there be restriction in our submissions, then there is restriction in our blessings.
