Freed, Armed and Dangerous!
Often when a convicted person is released on probation, there will be a parole officer who checks up on him/her regularly to ensure he/she obeys the rules or conditions given to him/her. Contrast this with a prison break experience.
Some jailbird escapes through a well orchestrated plan and went underground with firearm he stole from the penitentiary. The next thing the government does is to pronounce this man as "armed and dangerous".
Not only will the authority be on the lookout for this escaped convicted criminal, it will also alert the general public to beware of him. This is because he is a potential disaster just waiting to happen.
That is how every true believer in Jesus the Christ should be viewed especially as it relates to the kingdom of darkness - armed and dangerous. What makes us different from the escaped felon is the very word escaped. While he forcefully and unlawfully escapes, we as believers are actually freed. But like our wanted convict, we are also armed and dangerous.
You don't play with a child of God who knows his worth. Who understands the authority at his disposal. The bible tells us that a child who is a heir, as long as he is a child does not defer from a servant serving in the house. Rather he is under tutors who teach him until he becomes qualified to call the shots in the same house.
As we mature in our walk with God, it is expected that we get to that stage where we have been tried, tested, and found fit to battle the enemy. And not just fit for battle but also able to win it.
Samson was anointed, armed and dangerous. He destroyed volumes of men who stood in his way. David was anointed, armed and dangerous. He chopped off the head of the giant Goliath and gained the victory for the israelites. Paul (aka Saul) was anointed, armed and dangerous. He chased demons out of possessed and oppressed people. Deborah was anointed, armed and dangerous. She spearheaded a move that saw her people's lifestyle brought back to normalcy. We can go on and on.
All the demons of hell put together cannot withstand you as long as you carry the authority and power of heaven to march into hell's kitchen and take back the joy, peace, prosperity, health, and our homes that the devil, with his cohorts, has taken away.
In this world our calling as much as is possible is to live with all men in peace. But in the spiritual realm the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against God. We have been armed to wreck havoc to the kingdom of darkness. Our victory is certain and secured by the blood of Jesus that the enemy of our souls and every human agents should fear us because we have been freed, armed and dangerous!
