Who are the best preachers? They who speak what they know or they who do not know what they are speaking about?
I would classify Christ and all they that follow Him as them who speak what they know and thus they are more effective, accurate and sincere.
We will never be able to effectively witness about Jesus more that our experience with Him.
Do you know Him? if so, you can effectively tell others about Him.
Billy Graham said, "Before I spend one hour to preach to the people about God I have to spend several hours in prayer to God for the people."
For a preacher cannot deliver the Word if he has not received it from the Lord, any such attempt otherwise would just be a meaningless powerless intellectual presentation.
Jesus once healed a man born blind to whom everyone asked thus :-
"Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”" John 9:10(NKJV) and he joyosly wittnessed how Jesus had blessed him.
For sure we have more than one reason and much more to tell of how God has blessed us, yet do we dare and care to share?
Can we stand for Jesus? & Do we desire to stand for Him?
Most of the applause in our church is heard when someone wittnesses how the Lord delivered them from their fears, anxieties, sorrows and sickness.
We need to feel Jesus and having felt Him, we need to tell others, for there are many who need to feel Him the way we did, for lack of God in their life has led them to sin and destruction and they await a living testimony, a genuine answer to a common question, "“How were your eyes opened? How have you been blessed?"
Proud to belong to Thee O King
Lord let me speak, and speak it loud,
About Thy love, for of Thee I'm proud.
Proud to belong to Thee O King,
Thy tender mercies I'll forever sing.
I'll tell the world how good You are,
and how awesome and mighty are your deeds,
for only You can bless our weary souls,
only you can satusfy all our needs.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
