ust because you are faithful or deemed righteous by God does't mean you will be excused from trials. And just because everything in the life of person seem perfect in the eyes of man doesn't mean it is because such person is faithful or deemed righteous by God.

Righteousness is imputed by God and none can attain righteousness by his or her own independent works. Evidence of righteousness or faithfulness toward God is not in how perfect things might seem in the outward. Rather, the existence of God's righteousness in us is evidenced by our willingness to remain faithful and appreciative of His grace and divine love for us irrespective of what we end up going through in this life.

God imputed His righteousness in us to enable maintain our spiritual standing and relationship with Him. And irrespective of our afflictions we must abide in His imputed righteousness for the sake of receiving His final reward. Several people today are only interested in the temporary benefits God can give. They chase after the temporary benefits with vigour. In desperation search for breakthrough several have ended up separated from God's righteousness and God's righteousness revealed is Jesus Christ.

As followers of Christ we must not count it strange when we find ourselves in the midst of trials. If Jesus our Saviour and Master had to undergo and endure trials so we can inherit God's kingdom, then we should not expect that as His followers we will have a trial free life in this world. Indeed Scripture in whole context made it clear to us that the faithful and deemed righteous by God cannot avoid trials and tribulations. Job being an obvious example. But even though the righteous are bound to suffer many afflictions for the LORD's sake, the LORD our Righteousness will always deliver them from it all for His glory and honour sake.

As it is written:

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken". ~Psalm 34:19-20
