As the world economies continue to evolve and shift, new opportunities emerge. The 21st Century continues to evolve and produce industries that were non existent in the previous centuries. Economies are now being dominated by the Digital Economy, whilst the Bricks and Mortar businesses anchor our economies, the digital economy is creating more business trail blazers than thought possible.
The digital economy is seeing teenagers run high tech businesses from the comfort of their parents’ apartments. Venture Capitalists are known to be targeting these youngsters whilst their ideas are still prime, they provide the finances and the projects take off the ground or in some cases quickly expanded.
This is the ability to create wealth. By providing service and value, young and old people are taking back the reins of their lives. This is moving away from the usual ‘get a job’ mentality. Whilst there is no harm in getting a job that you are passionate about, we are at that crucial time in history where what we thought to be as kids is continually being challenged.
We have many professionals bloggers who earn a decent income. Many young entrepreneurs are also starting the Bricks and Mortar businesses and still do well. However, in this article I chose to look at the world of Online business. An online business is allowing people to work from home and decided when and how many hours to work. Not only that, once the systems have been set in place well then the business almost runs on auto pilot majorly.
Online businesses are ranging from Ebooks, Blogging, Affiliate marketing etc. Just the kindle applications alone are creating searious entrepreneurs. A lot of believers love to quote Deutoronomy 8 :18 which talks about the power that God provides to enable wealth creation.
By meeting the needs of others through service or products value is created and the receiver of that value parts with some cash. This is enabling a lot of ministers to evangelise as they have more money in less time to fund their own ministries. Its a beautiful thing when ministers or pastors no longer get paid by the church, but opt not to receive an income but instead give their tithes to his or her own ministry. Some of them are creating this extra revenue through various online businesses on different platforms.
At this point all the key players in either the old economy ( bricks and mortar) and the new economy (digital economy) come from different and varying backgrounds. It’s so crystal clear that the ability to create value is not religion specific as we see people from all religions and backgrounds play a pivotal in the growth of economies.
