Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.—Sherry Anderson
How would you like the idea of enjoying astonishing riches.
The best way is to volunteer. The unlimited supply of delightful joy this brings is immeasurable.
I spent ten years of volunteering in Hospitals in Ontario. Those truly were the best years of my life. Yes there was the gratitude of the nurses and doctors, but also a wonderful sense of the joy that can only be gained by helping someone.
Come on, there is an unlimited supply of opportunities to serve. Why not volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen to help you realize hoe blessed you are. Why not be a reading buddy with a child in a local school. Why not visit seniors or volunteer with meals on wheels. Why not volunteer at your local Salvation Army Thrift store.
When you begin volunteering it may be difficult at first, but hang in there. If it doesn’t work out try someplace else.
I believe it should be mandatory for all middle and high school students to participate in some form of volunteer work as part of their curriculum.
I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. Mark 9:41
Prayer: Oh Jehovah our God of love, please guide me to where my skills can best meet the needs to serve others, there by serve You. After all didn’t Jesus say;” Do not think the Son of man came to BE served, but rather the son of man came TO serve. In His kindhearted name I pray. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

It may be difficult to grasp but think of it like this:
You go to church and a preacher is giving a sermon on how we should give our time in service to Christ. Does that mean he should not receive wages for that sermon? After all, did he not just give his time in service to Christ?
He gives a sermon on how we should share Jesus, does the congregation then say well you shared the gospel with us so we do not owe you any wages for it?
I can assure you that a great deal of my time is spent doing volunteer work in very difficult circumstances.
Do you think an artist will create a painting and then give it away?
Then how will he eat or pay his bills?
Every article written by everyone is a creation just the same as a painting.
I am a poor missionary that would greatly appreciate some needed extra funds.
When my shoes wore out I duct taped them together until they were ready to fall apart. I went four years without a new pair of shoes.
Do you condemn my attempts to earn some wages?
How much have you sacrificed for Christ?
May Jesus bless you to open your heart and mind to the message given.
