The Rock and the Stones Rocks and stones that look all too familiar On this path that’s called My Life Kicked to the side, I’ve determined Once cleared, a path without strife The “all too familiar” were issues not dealt with Swept under, hidden from sight Nobody would know the difference Concealed and quiet, no one uptight Round and round the same issues returned Pushing up beneath the pile of debris If I just keep trying to clear the path From the outside, nobody would see Trying my best to push through and appear normal Wasn’t working, all I wanted was peace The weight of the chains were too heavy to bear My faith weak, I asked God for a fleece If I push away the rubble, will you help me Unearth what I thought to be hidden? It’s painful Lord, I can’t do this myself There’s so much to lose through this lesson Step aside and let Me do the work You’re exhausted, run down and afraid I’ll bring the healing, unlike what you’ve seen Unshackled from the chains like you prayed You helped me dig deep to the base of the pile Boulders lifted that I couldn’t move You showed me that pile of rocks that I built Hid answers only You could prove Next time when I feel the familiar Remind me of what You have done I don’t want to walk in circles again Forgetting what You have begun
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
