The Lord is the Light of Your Life, Volume 18 Ė Unpublished work © 2012 by JP Timpano

Think of your life as an assignment from God. Ask Him how he wants you to proceed, and wait for the answer.

Sometimes it will feel in the flesh like God has abandoned you when you are in a dry place in your life. Remember we walk by faith and not by sight.

Lord, teach me to sing...

Enjoy the journey of your life. God will continue to give you His grace to learn, love and prosper. He has set the captives free...

What measure you give you will receive...

Walking beside the Lord Jesus Christ gives me strength and power to stand up when I am abused emotionally. I've had my share of it, but believe me the love of Jesus makes my heart leap with joy & peace through it all. My purpose in life is through Him. Hallelujah!

The Lord will open up your eyes to danger. Your spirit will sense it, and you will be protected. Praise God!

Walking in the ways of God will protect you. His law is meant to give you strength and not to punish you. Don't be deceived!

Following Christ means that we do not have to be perfect. He died for our sins.

The ways of the Lord are clean, pure and honorable. He will bless you when you follow His ways.

Beware of the time when what was right becomes wrong and what was wrong becomes right. The devil will try to twist the truth!

You may be mocked for believing in the ways of God, but stand strong. You will be rewarded for your faith and obedience.

There is a way that is true and a way that is false. It's not up to any human being to decide, but to God alone. His way is perfect.

Following the Word of God will lead you to peace. The ways of the devil, through disobedience will only yield turmoil in your life.

Spending time with God will give you strength. Don't believe the lie that you don't have enough time to spend with Him. You'll accomplish more when you make Him your priority.

I pray for those who are in physical or emotional pain to seek the One who is the Great Physician. God. He loves you. Believe it.

God has not changed. Feelings come and go, circumstances come and go, but God NEVER changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Worry & fear is not of God. They are tools of the devil to put you in bondage. God does not want you in bondage.

Do what God commands you to do and do not be concerned whether people get it or not. Be faithful to what He has shown you and He will reward you.

The more I talk and relate to people the more I realize that we are really all the same. We are all in need of a Savior who will heal us.

I've been lonely alot in my life, but in every situation I've learned that God is the answer.

You can be lonely in a crowd, when you feel like you're not understood. The healer of your loneliness is God. He understands you.

Let God be the barometer for your life. He is the TRUE measurement!

Family may turn on you, but God never does. Friends may disappear, but God stands with you with unconditional love.

Be true to the gifts that God has given you. He has given everyone gifts so that they can make it through in this life. God is love.

Remember, God is not just somebody you run to when you are afraid. He wants and expects a personal relationship with Him.

Without the promise of Christ, we have no security when we die. Without Christ, there is no resurrection from the dead.

God hates sin but loves the sinner.

God is in charge of the clock. God is in charge of the timing in our lives. He orchestrated when we were born and knows when we will return to Him.

I love you Lord.

Wrap yourself around the ways of the Lord. He knows what is best for you.

Resist where you want to go if it is not in line with what God has shown you in the secret place.

Keep true to the Holy Spirit and the ways He has shown you.

Remember above all, God is interested in your heart.

The power of the Holy Spirit and obedience to God's Word keeps me calm, collected and free.

Let God prioritize what is important in your life.

The futile things in life will not give you long lasting joy. It is in a relationship with Jesus that you will find peace for your heart.

Perfect peace begins with a mind that is focused on God.

Jesus is looking to have a relationship with those who claim that they love Him.

Share the hope and love of the Lord with those around you.

Show people the mercies of the Lord.

You donít reap a harvest unless you plant in good rich soil.

Stay close to what the Lord has shown you is correct. Your body is a holy and pure temple unto Him. Keep it clean, in honor of the God that formed you.

The devil will throw all he has at you, especially as you get closer and closer to God's ways, to discourage and frighten you.

Remember, the ways of the devil have no power over you. Cling to the Truth, resist temptation, and the truth will set you free.

God will deliver you through the fire. He is the One who controls the winds.

Praise Him when you can see, and praise Him when you can't. He's God, and is worthy of all praise.

Sometimes you can only learn what God wants to show you when you encounter a trial.

Don't be deceived. This is such a thing as sin. Jesus died on the cross for our sin.

After experiencing a major crisis, I found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learned how to be free from emotional burdens and bondages.

With Christ I have true peace in the midst of the storm.

A battle of spiritual warfare exists in each of us as we strive to build our personal relationship with Christ.

The devil, Satan, tries to pull us away from our relationship to Christ by introducing lies, fear and confusion into our way of thinking.

The devilís goal is to keep us away from knowing the truth, and will use any weapon in his war chest to keep us in the emotional chains that previously bound us.

As you struggle through spiritual warfare, you will come to understand the attributes of third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, as a vital part of your life.

You will learn that the Holy Spirit speaks to us on a daily basis to confirm and reveal the Word of Truth.

The Holy Spirit continually provides direction and guidance to strengthen and encourage us as we live out our time in this life.

The Holy Spirit has taught me that my real purpose in this life is to bear witness to God in all that I say and do, thereby giving glory to God, the Creator of everything.

God will become your everything, as you draw closer to Him.

It is your choice to accept God. Heís always there for you. Itís up to you to reach out.

Pornography is a lie. It is not how the sexual act should be. It attempts to paint a picture that is not based on Godís truth or fulfillment.

People use drugs as an escape. They donít realize or understand how the Lord can fill the desires of the heart.

Bad decisions along the way can open the door for the demonic realm to try to control your life.

God will show us what eternity is.

Desire to have a relationship with God. In that you will find Him and His true peace for your life.

God is waiting for you to accept Him. He has been there with you all along.

Repentance is very important. It is a confession and a turning away from past sins committed.

Forgive those who have abused you in the past.

Your time with the Lord is like fuel for your tank and a compass for the direction of your life.
