This month's lesson we'll go a little bit deeper,
the road I'm walking on is a tad steeper.
I was amazed when "the jews are not the jews" arrived as a Revelation,
the world mocks all things of God, we can look to the bow in the cloud for indication.
He said He would cause the memory of His people to cease,
He sent the first of His flock out to be fleeced.
We face confusion in our confusion of face,
because we still haven't learned our Father's loving grace.
Our history consists of much more than just chains,
but includes the time of Israel's reign.
Our land was promised long before Roots,
and the Abe who freed us was not shot by John Wilkes Booth.
Lamentations speaks of skin that is black,
now let us look to Moses, where we'll refer back.
See where it speaks of his hand turning leprous as snow,
now that is a wonder worthy of our Father's show.
Solomon sang of bushy hair and today we label whether it is good or bad,
for it was God that said on the crown of His daughters would He place a scab.
Moses' lips are described as being uncut or full,
which makes sense of that Jim Crow black-face bull.
This is why we see hate being stirred and the false images of our Savior.
So, the devil could enjoy the gentiles' fall as a sweet savor.
In closing, I wish for you not a month filled with black history,
but eternal life with answers to all its mysteries.
