STANDING TALL

STANDING TALL: EXCEPT BEFORE THE KING

I read the end of the Book,
I know how it ends; I do not
however know the nooks
and crannies, nor the
curves and bends; but
I do know how it all ends.

I cannot say what lies ahead
for either me or you; I only know
what The Lord has said
that His kids must do:
"Don't reverse and run,
occupy until I come!"

It may seem to be a
thing of great difficulty,
to stand in the face
of adversity, but we have
protection IF we wear
the clothes He has prepared.

Robes of white, His righteousness,
underneath the armor He provides,
His blood, His Name and His
Precious Word, which in
the spirit world is a sword;
and our command to STAND!

"What good is a sword
for the spirit world when
I live on terra firma?"
The lesson we must learn
and know is that the "natural"
by the Spirit is controlled.

So we must do as Jesus said
and stand up tall and straight,
never budging, nor a fearful,
sound to make, being strong
in Him, although underneath
our feet the ground may quake.

I read the end of the Book,
and the ending is great
for those who faithful stand,
and while of ourselves we
would be inept, we are held
in the palm of His big hand.

There have always been troubling and fear filled times in the life of each of us, but we face some challenges today that we have not before faced. I cannot predict the severity of those challenges but we must recall our command to STAND and to OCCUPY!

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds."

We pray and say, those are our tools of warfare; but we must not forget that God does not hear the prayers of the disobedient children unless that prayer is preceded by repentance. "Your sins have separated between you and Me so that I cannot hear you." So, let us bow before The King, otherwise STAND!
