Godís Perfect Timing
Weíve been discussing the Teaching on Godís Time and Seasons He provided for us throughout a LIFETIME we will be on the earth. Solomon having so many experiences with God and accomplishing the will of God in his personal life left us some practical events that we will encounter;
1. A Time to be born, And a Time to die;
2. A Time to plant, And a Time to pluck what is planted;
3. A Time to kill, And a Time to heal;
4. A Time to breakdown, And a Time to build up;
5. A Time to weep, And a Time to laugh;
6. A Time to mourn, And a Time to dance;
7. A Time to cast away stones, And a Time to gather stones;
8. A Time to embrace, And a Time to refrain from embracing;
9. A Time to gain, And a Time to lose;
10. A Time to keep, And a Time to throw away;
11. A Time to tear, And a Time to sew;
12. A Time to keep silence, And a Time to speak;
13. A Time to love, And a Time to hate;
14. A Time of war, And a Time of peace (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NKJV)
Is it Godís Perfect Timing?
We read this list and we may be wondering when? When will I encounter these things? Half of this list is positive and the other half is negative! I like the positives and the experiences described, but what about the negatives? How will I deal with them when they come? Will I be ready? Can I handle them?
One of the key factors that we must consider is that in some way we will encounter these events. If it does not affect us directly it will impact us indirectly when it happens to someone close to us. The fact that we will encounter the negative effects of life itís always tied to the positive effect coming on its heel or right after we experience of the negative. So there is a glorious outcome and through the tragic experiences mentionedóthe flip side is healing, laughter, dancing, and joy that can be experienced thereafter.
One of the main points I would like to make is that God has everything laid out in His perfect plan for our lives. Whatís perfect about a loved one dying? Death is not the end itís only the beginning to eternal life with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Yes, we feel the lost and then the pain of them leaving and the financial disaster that may result if the person who died was a big contributor to the household expenses. However, thereís hope in Jesus. For Naomi and Ruth who lost their husbands and close relatives and the financial woes Godís Divine plan was accomplished in their lives when they went back to Jerusalem and met Boaz (See the book of Ruth chapters 1-4)
What about losing a child? David and Bathsheba lost their first child but God bless them with Solomon who is Teaching us about Godís Timing and Seasons of experiences. God gave them and us a blessing--A man full of Godís wisdom to bring forth Truth to our understanding of all these positive and negative experiences we will encounter in its Time and Seasons.
Job was one of the richest men that ever lived during his TIME, and Job lost his sons and daughters then all his businesses and workers and was afflicted physically. At the end, God healed Job and gave him double the amount that he had and more sons and daughters. And Job lived a long life on earth.
Living in the middle of it!
God is not our enemy. Heís not up in heaven waiting to rain down judgment on us when we miss it. The enemy we have is satan. Satanís job is to steal, kill, destroy and deceive us into thinking that God is the One doing all the bad stuff to us (See John 8:44/ 10:10 NKJV). If we read about every negative event that took place with all the Biblical characters. Every righteous person that experienced evil in their lives ended up bless beyond their imaginations. Every believer who chose to just live a wicked lifestyle despite the warnings they ended up dying a horrific death based on their rebellion and ungodly choices.
Those who innocently lost their lives to some usual tragedy God has a unique plan after the immediate lost. There is something good that will arise out of Newtown and every horrific tragedy thereafter. We only need to keep our hope alive through that madness and the unexplainable circumstances that we donít want to encounter. The Time of killing past, a Time of HEALING is whatís needed for the people of Newtown. The only thing we all have to be aware of is that HEALING can only take place if we allow it. We must be open to it. The Season for it is now! I encourage all ministers of healing to contemplate the TIME and Season youíre in during this TIME at Newtown and pray and ask God for a special Anointing of Healing to be released on you and Newtown and when you receive the green light go and be the hand of Healing for those in Newtown go forth knowing its Godís Timing to heal.
For those who experienced Hurricane Sandy and canít seem to recover and there is so much red-tape to get money for rebuilding and relocating. Remember, there is a Time to gain, after you experienced a Time of lost. Godís Perfect Timing is designed to challenge you to move forward even if it means leaving the place of residence you had for 20, 30, or 40 years and you planned to leave it behind as an inheritance to your children. If itís a dangerous flood zone be willing to change locations for the sake of another tragic flooding. Use wisdom, donít be afraid to move and meet new people and encounter new experiences. Abraham got up and left where he grew up to go to see the promised-land that he never experienced living in. Remember our home is in heaven in your new mansion. We need to apply A Time to embrace, and a Time to refrain from embracing our old neighborhood. Itís a Season to move on!
The Practical is in the Word of God
God is looking out for our best interest and tragedy only leads us to seek God for Wisdom and Victory over the negative effects we have encountered. The only thing we must do is learn the Art of Godís Perfect Timing to move forward into the next chapter of our lives after the lost, the pain and the negatives effects we have experienced. Itís TIME to be bless, to move forward, to be healed, to begin embracing the new, to build up, to laugh again, to dance again to enjoy the life we have been given despite our lost. It will take Time for some but it will come.
May God Bless you to realize what Time youíre in so you may encounter a new husband and or wife like Ruth, get a new business and more employees like Job did, and experience another child or more children like Job and David experienced. The blessings will out-weigh the tragedy. And the Bible could not be any clearer that God is out to bless you, in Jesus name amen.
