One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. ó Proverbs 13:7 New International Version
I see so many people walking around with fake Apple iphones and fake Louis Vuitton purses. They are really just middle income people that are only doing it to impress others. They do not even know the people they are trying to show off to. Oh how vain they are.
How about you?
Are you going around dressing to impress others and getting body piercing and tattoos to impress others? Instead of being an individual you are a slave to fashion. In your vanity you are only making someone else rich while making a fool of yourself.
Why not try impressing the only one worthy of impressing?
His name is Jesus Christ.
It may not sound cool, but to impress Him, you have to accept Him as your savior.
That means that you accept that no matter who your are or what you have done, you are not good enough to impress God. It is only by Christís supreme painful sacrifice on the cross that you are worthy.
Then, once you accept Him as your savior He will give you a special job that no one but you can do. When you do this, He will be impressed. And He is the only one worth impressing.
Prayer: Please Holy Spirit my guidance councilor; guide my heart, mind and spirit to serve my beloved King as a faithful and obedient servant. I humble request this in the name of the servant King who walked all the way to the cross for me Jesus Christ.
Amen. May you be blessed with Gods divine love, peace and joy.
