In one of my previous articles, I suggested that on the basis of Ezekiel 47 and Amos 1 and 2 that Israel would soon invade Syria, past Damascus, part of the East Bank in Jordan and probably southern Lebanon. I am now more convinced that southern Lebanon will be invaded, probably up to the Litani River, including Tyre.
Tyre is included in the oracles of Amos 1 and 2, all of which I believe are directed to Israel of the end times and they include areas that Israel currently occupies or will occupy: Damascus, Gaza, Tyre, Edom, Ammon, Moab, Judah and Israel. These are also the areas that I believe are delineated in the boundaries of Israel described in Ezekiel 47. The northern boundary close to the Mediterranean is difficult to ascertain from that chapter, but I now believe it includes southern Lebanon--again, probably up to the Litani River, including Tyre. Also, Ezekiel 26-28 says that, after invasion, Tyre will never be rebuilt. That didn't apply to Nebuchadnezzar's or Alexander's invasions, so it must apply to an end times invasion. And, of course, southern Lebanon is the area of Hizb-Allah fighters.
I currently expect this invasion to occur at least by this summer (2013) and it will undoubtedly bring many players into a regional mideast war, including Iran. Hold on to your seats--I believe that we are about to see some biblical prophecy directly fulfilled. Then the next big prophecy to be fulfilled will be the rebuilding of the third Jewish temple in Jerusalem, to be completed about 2020.
(07/01/15 Addendum: Obviously, I was wrong about this invasion in 2013. I now expect this invasion in 2015 or 2016. See my article, ISRAEL IN REGIONAL WAR BY 2016.)
