He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Matthew 8:6 New International Version.
The disciples had just seen Jesus feed more that five thousand people. Now they were in a storm and were afraid of drowning. Did Jesus make fun of them or yell at them?
I imagine Jesus looking at them like a parent looks at their child after falling off their bike for the umpteenth time while learning to ride.
That is how we are to be with fellow believer, especially new ones. We are to be patient with them.
Maybe you understand something in the Christian walk they do not.
Do not criticize them or make fun of them or yell at them. Be patient with them and pray for God to open their eyes.
He will, in His time not yours.
Why not think of it like I do?
You are their big brother or sister and it is your responsibility to help them grow and encourage them while teaching them patience and respect for others.
Prayer: Please Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) help me to be understanding, patient and a good teacher to those in our family who are not as advanced as I just as You my friend have been so patient with me. In your loving name I ask Amen
May you be blessed with Gods divine love, peace and joy.
