God Created Us In His Holiness
Who Am I is a question asked by men and women everywhere. Even children ask this question and look for answers that can only come from knowing who God is in our lives. Who we look at and see in the mirror is not who we are as far as Christ is concerned. Who God made us to be is that spirit created and placed on the inside of man. God breathe on man and man became a living soul. We are living souls that walk around in bodies of flesh that was made of dirt and water.
Genesis 1;27 so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them
Genesis 2:7 and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.
Why Am I Here is a question many wonder about. We don’t know why we are here or why God sent us into this world of corruption. God created man to the praise of His Glory. We were created to praise God and give Him Glory throughout the earth.
Isaiah 43:7 even every one that is called by my name; for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Ephesians 1:4-6 according as he hath chosen us to him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
What Is My Purpose God has made it plain what man’s purpose in the earth is; to glorify Him as their Creator, be fruitful and multiply in the earth bringing forth seed that may reproduce after its own kind, man and woman producing children, providing and protecting them from all hurt and harm. Man was to keep the earth; God’s Creation. On the spiritual side we are to produce saints through the process of a new birth to save souls. Once we have been saved and recommitted our lives to Christ we must become soul winners reaching out to save the lost at any cost; even at the cost of our own life. We are here to work the work of Christ, walk the walk of faith and be the sons of God. Our purpose is to do the will of the Father after the likeness of Christ Jesus.
Genesis 1:28 and God blessed them and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Ephesians 1:9-12 having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself; that in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; even in him: in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will; that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Where Am I Going; the question is do we know where we are going after this life? Do we know what we are doing in this life to take us to the next life? God in his Word has given us specifics about this life and the life to come no matter which life we decide we are going to partake of. There is life after we depart this earth. Who we trust in while we live determines life tomorrow. We have heard in one way or the other the Word of Truth which is the gospel of our salvation. If we believe the Word after hearing it then we are saved with a promise of eternal life. If we reject the Word when we hear it we have a promise of hell and damnation for eternity. There is a war going on inside of us that keeps us from God or brings us closer to Him.
Galatians 5:16-17 this I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other; so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Galatians 6:8 for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
When Will I Know I Am Saved for the Lord our God is holy, are we holy? He is the King eternal in heaven and in earth do we believe Him to be? He is immortal and invisible, the only wise God that we live to bring honor and glory to forever and ever; do we? Do we believe that there is none besides Him? Jesus said we must be born again of the Spirit because the law of God is perfect and we can only be perfect in Him. We must be found written in the book of life. When I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart, turn away from sin then I am saved. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure.
Isaiah 59:2 but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
