The Gospel is glad tidings, especially the good news concerning Christ, the kingdom of God and salvation.
Matthew 4:23 and Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is uncompromising and full of love. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the pillar of the church which when planted deep down in the heart of man helps us to endure all the way to the end. The gospel is the comparative, comprehensive, and thoroughness of Godís heart, mind, and love for man. Jesus was a product of the love of God that came to give us a more accurate clearer insight into God and who He is where his love is effectively and deeply imprinted in our mind and heart.
Uncompromised means it is strong, inflexible, determined and firm. The Gospel of Jesus Christ will change our lives and cause us to love like God loves. No longer will we be so aloof, cold, and indifferent with each other or God. We will have that same concern Jesus had for the souls of man. Mark 1:14-15 now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye, and believe the gospel. No longer will we be inattentive and careless in our walk with God. We will show forth a positive attitude toward the Gospel when we come to really believe and accept the work Christ did to bring us in right relationship with the Father once again. Our lifestyle will reflect that belief. What happened on the inside will illuminate to the outside and our entire life without reserve will qualify us not only to be called a Christian but we are really born again.
The gospel took root in Paul who in time past fought the gospel of Jesus Christ. He said in Romans 1:15-17 so as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith. When we stop making a covenant with the enemy of our soul, bargaining for things in this world that will rip us apart from God, giving and taking the garbage of the world and negotiating agreements with man that finds a middle ground for the world to sin then we will find that Godís Word will take a deeper root in us.
This root is called a pillar, a support, mainstay, and God can depend on us to be that guider. Paul as he went to Jerusalem met men that were considered pillars. In Galatians 2:9 and when James, Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. His love guiding us will cause us to escort or show someone else the way through Godís love. How can the blind lead the blind?
The Gospel is life changing, we can never be the same once we believe its infallible creed, and accept its certainty, doctrine, faith, and truth. Paul withstood Peter in Galatians 2:11-13 in that he was one way with the Gentiles when the Jews were not around and another when they were around. People will be carried away with our dissimulation. We are to be one way with Christ. The Gospel is the true record of Christ which is stable, fixed, rooted, immovable steady, sound and secure. The Christian must be settled in their purpose for accepting and following Christ. We must be determined, steadfast, and resolute. We must be constant in our service and lifestyle. The Gospel teaches us holiness, sanctification, redemption and justification. When we would have been delivered from man, ourselves and the Devil we can see God as He is.
